Supermodel and Football Player Get Hitched, Will Wonders Never Cease!
Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen got married in Los Angeles last night according to Us Magazine. Despite rumors of their engagement in December, the couple repeatedly denied the news. Apparently they think we are all dumb-dumbs.
I normally love hearing about blessed events like weddings and births, but in Hollywood, these events are attached to stigmas of divorce rates in the 80% (just speculating that figure on empirical data) and ugly custody battles, so forgive my dampened enthusiasm. To make matters worse, this particular coupling already had built in scandal, as Gisele and Tom began dating when he’d already knocked up actress Bridget Moynahan. SHADY!! So in this case, we have two hos and baby!

Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady wed today at the St. Monica Catholic Church in Santa Monica, Calif., Usmagazine.com confirms.
The bride, 28, donned a form-fitting ivory lace strapless gown with a trumpet skirt, scalloped edges, long train and a floor-length veil with attached handmade satin roses and attached satin headband, all by Dolce & Gabbana. Her three dogs also wore matching Dolce & Gabbana floral lace collars.
The ceremony — which began at dusk — was “very small and intimate,” a source tells Us, adding that guests mostly consisted of immediate family. Brady’s son with ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan, John Edward Thomas Moynahan, was also present.
(Fitting, as Bundchen once described her ideal wedding as “a simple ceremony…I don’t like parties, I prefer something more intimate, just for the closest people.”)
Reps did not immediately return calls.
The Brazilian-born supermodel has been dating the New England Patriots quarterback, 31, since 2006.
A pal close to the couple told Us Bundchen and Brady are perfect together.
“She’s definitely ‘The One,’” the source said. “She really makes him comfortable and just happy.”
And the bride wore white? Nervy! And of course she’s the one, they’re all the one, until they aren’t. I’m sure Bridget thought she was the “one” when Tom impregnated her. Congrats you two sluts! Here’s to hoping your union lasts longer most.

Well, first of all, I can’t stand Tom Brady. He’s a Patriot. What else is there to say?
Second, that photo does neither of them any favors. She looks like a kindergartner got hold of her dress with a pair of scissors, and he just looks creepy and old. Plus, honey, sometimes even the thinnest of us need a little support. It’s called a bra. Put one on.
Third…well, it’s Tom Brady. Nothing like knocking up your girlfriend and then splitting. I know she was there too, but she’s the one raising the child while he’s off boinking supermodels.
Oh well, he had plenty of time for romance this last season…it wasn’t like he was throwing touchdowns or anything. Zing!

I don’t see what the “scandal” is here. It’s not like he was cheating on Bridgett with Gisele, or that he dumped after he found out she was pregnant. From what I understand, they both mutually agreed to break up, and then she discovered she was pregnant. Should they have gotten married, just because she was pregnant? This isn’t the 50’s anymore. Yes, I know it’s best for a child to grow up being raised in a two-parent household, but let’s get real. A marriage like that would also most likely end in divorce, probably after the have another kid or two, which will just make it even worse for all of them. Better to just try to remain friends, and stay on good terms.
And sorry it offends your moral values so much to discover that some ADULT women have sex outside of wedlock, but if you think that makes them “hos” & “sluts,” well guess what? Welcome to the 21st century.

Um, it was also a reported rumor they broke up perhaps a.) because he found out she was pregnant, b.) because she found out he was seeing Gisele. Gisele and Tom are the hos, not Bridget.
Sorry, but I feel we should be supporting monogamy in our culture. I guess you don’t agree with that. FYI, Bridget was unhappy about the relationship and the marriage, from the beginning. There was nothing amicable about this breakup and Tom is a shady mo-fo. That was my point. People can have kids out of wedlock as much as they want, that wasn’t the point, the point was Tom cheating on Bridget after discovering she was pregnant.
That’s just creepy.

The key words there are RUMOR and PERHAPS. I also remember reading on other sites that some said that the couple was on the verge of breaking up, and so Bridget quickly got pregnant on purpose, so she could still nail him for child support. Which is something that happens to a lot of pro athletes and, if true, would make Bridget pretty SHADY as well.
But I don’t bother judging her for that, because I don’t know what really happened in their relationship, and neither do you.
