Riverside County Officials In Cahoots With Church of Scientology

A couple weeks back Glosslip posted an exclusive breaking story about arrests at the Church of Scientology compound in Hemet, California called Gold Base. High profile Scientology critic and Emmy-award winning journalist Mark Bunker was subjected to a “citizen’s arrest” executed by Riverside sheriff’s deputies for essentially “meandering” too long in front of the gate. Bogus indeed.

What is not bogus however is the connections between Riverside County Commissioner Jeff Stone and the Church of Scientology. Investigative reporter Nathan Baca for ABC affiliate station KESQ dug deeper into the hows and why of a recent proposal to ban all public protests outside the compound. Please watch both videos for a revealing look at what Scientology is trying to hide and how Commissioner Stone is complicit in covering up the illegal actions of the Scientology organization.

The report also includes an incredibly awesome interview with Scientology spokesperson Tommy Davis. Talk about squirming. Nathan Baca deserves some serious kudos and footrubs for his brave reporting. Dude, word of advice, watch your back. Scientology’s only good a one thing, harassing critics.

Tommy Davis: “Uh, that’s just how they were installed.”
Reporter: “So why do you have a camouflaged outpost?”

We will not be seeing Tommy Davis again for a long time, if ever.

This my friends is just the tip of the iceburg.

There is a shit storm headed for Scientology and it’s about to get a whole lot steamier! P-U!

The days of hiding all this deception is coming to an end. People are speaking out, people are leaving, the media has realized they can report without getting fair gamed, and if they do they wil report it.

People are finally listening to what ex members and protestors have been saying all along. Something smells REAL rotten. And that something is Scientolgoy.

    Here’s some more kryptonite…
OTIII Level in a nut shell.. 75 million years ago there was an evil galactic war lord name Xenu who wanted to limit the population on his planet, so he ffoze the beings in glycol and loaded them into DC8 airplanes and dropped them in a volcano on earth and then dropped hydrogen bombs on them , and then collected them and these “thetans” were forced to watch HOURS of other religions…. and these thetans went around attatching themselves to people.
THIS IS WHY YOU ARE USING THE E-METER NOW SCIENTOLOGISTS!

    Think I am wrong??
Are you feeling woozy from reading that?
Just wait till you get that OTIII packet in your hand and read what is says…. boy will you be pissed when you find out it’s all what has been said right here.

That was the best that the scientologists could throw out for Staturday? A backhanded sarcastic insult? Lame.

At least the ones over on the KESQ website are putting up some kind of fight. Even if that kind of fight is like the kind a retard puts up when he doesn’t want to do something his handler tells him to. What I guess I’m saying is that the KESQ Scilons are retard strong compared to you.

You haven’t got it, you aren’t going to get it, the only element your reply about is antagonism and if it weren’t for people more literate than you in the world, we wouldn’t have traffic tickets in the first place.

  23. @ Terryeo

“if it weren’t for people more literate than you in the world, we wouldn’t have traffic tickets in the first place.”

    Wait… WHAT??

    1) what the hell are you referring to in your post? The article? The writer of the article? The writers of all the comments? A particular comment? Maybe you should make it clear WHO you are addressing before going off on your usual brand of crazy

    2) That part I quoted makes zero sense. I’m going to try putting it in different words (and relate it to myself). “If it weren’t for people who could read better then me, we wouldn’t have traffic tickets.” What the fuck does that even mean in the context of either the article, the videos or the comments?

I mean seriously at least try to make sense in your replies.

Also, didn’t you get banned from Wikipedia for being a general douche? It’s not hard to see why.

PS: “the only element your reply about is antagonism” That’s not how normal people speak. That’s cult-speak. You probably don’t even realize you do it but all your posts are so loaded with scientology speak that your point never gets across. The only people that can understand a word you say are 1) Scientologists, 2) Former Scientologists or 3) Anonymous and that’s only because we’ve had to read all the shit you guys put out. Every single one of your points EVER is always lost on the average reader.

Hey Terryeo, if you are gonna make comments about literacy, maybe you should make sure you construct your sentences a bit better before making an even bigger fool of yourself than usual.

Or did you do it like that for the “lutz”?

  29. Seems one point is being overlooked, IMO. It is NOT only Anonymous that’s protesting the Church of Scientology and all of this cult’s brutalities, abuses and psycho crap. It’s also many, many brave ex-Scientologists who used to belong to that hell-hole who were abused or forced to sever connections to their families and who finally said ENOUGH! Still many can’t come forward for fear of consequences and Anonymous has made it clear that that’s why they are there, they are strong and will not back down. I personally thank you for that.

  35. Also for Terryeo.

I am an ex-Sci and I don’t even understand what you are talking about.

But I don’t think Terryeo will be returning here. Right now he probably thinks this site is too enturbulating. Soon, he may even confront the nonsense he has been fed and come around.

I have often thought that the collapse of Scientology is near but like OT powers, their collapse always seems to be just around the corner. Factoring that in, it really does seem like Scientology is about to keel over doesn’t it?

Even Tommy Davis will learn shame.

  51. @ Dave

See this is what I’m talking about (as I said when you posted it on the KESQ comments yesterday) do you care so little about what you’re actually saying that you cut & paste the same thing across multiple news stories for months on end?

You had the same comment in the SP Times articles about Kyle Brennen and that was over a month ago now. You obviously don’t care much about your opinion, why should we?

If you truly had an opinion on the stuff discussed here, why not say it? Why not counter points made in the article, or the videos? Why not try to put across valid arguements instead of this boring cut/paste job you’ve been doing for months now?

On a more scientology related point Dave, this is what you call communication? Saying the same thing over and over until it blends into the background like white noice? Is this confronting and shattering supression? A couple sentences and then running away? Is this what you got into Scientology for? To sit at a computer all day typing Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V (that’s copy/paste) on every article critical of scientology? Is this everything you thought Scientology would be?

  65. Hey JRL, if those are the kind of comments you are going to leave, don’t bother. Not to mention, a lot of sites, much larger than ours get very few comments and most of those that they do get are filled with spam and bullshit. Our comments are monitored and typically on topic.

Also, we interact with our readers, hence why we get “real” comments on ALL of our articles.

If you want a Scientology only site, there are plenty out there, but this is GOSSIP site, which frequently puts up Scientology posts because we both are aware they are a celebrity cult.

Seriously, think before you post, because I can’t get those two minutes I spent responding to you back.

  75. Sorry if I was curt in my original response…just having one of those days, y’know?

But you aren’t telling me anything I haven’t already noticed. It is true that CoS articles do get more traffic and more responses…but then, they kind of come built-in with their own fan base, so to speak. Word spreads fast in the anon community whenever a new story slamming the CoS comes out, and since Dawn has done such a superlative job at reporting their atrocities and staying on the story when mainstream media has moved away, of course people do show up and comment in droves. Plus, there are not that many anti-CoS sites, and the ones that do exist seem to work together anyway, so there isn’t much competition. anons seem to be more outgoing and outspoken than your usual celeb site readers.

In comparison, people who are interested in most celebs aren’t necessarily sitting around waiting for a big news story to hit about their favorite star. They might belong to fan clubs or sites about their favorite celeb, but the dynamic is usually a little different; it’s much looser and not as tightly-knit. Unless they are true fanatics (and we do get some!) who are out to totally act fanatical, either pro or con, they usually read and move on; sometimes they comment, sometimes they don’t. That, and celeb sites any more are a dime a dozen. I’m fighting for exposure in a huge market, doing my own thing…I don’t like short blurb posts, I like to put a bit of thought into what I write, so the result is less on quantity and hopefully more on quality. But it is often the short blurb post sites that get high comments…the people who run them often let the commenters do the writing for them. Many times, they just throw a story out in five minutes or so; it is the people in the comments who do most of the actual writing/opinion-forming.

But there are some non-CoS articles here which generate a lot of discussion: Nick Hogan, Brad and Angelina/child hoarding, Casey Anthony, that whole Ellen/puppy thing, the dog-cloning fiasco, the recent Octomom articles. I remind myself of that every so often, and I remind myself that traffic is the true barometer, not number of comments. One set of articles isn’t better or worse than others (not saying that is what you said, I’m just thinking out loud); they are just different and they reach out to different types of people.

I’m hoping more of the people who come here for CoS stories will stick around and read some of the other things we have to offer here. Dawn writes a ton of fabulous stuff that has nothing to do with the CoS, and I think sometimes people don’t see it or realize it. But then…when I read at other celeb sites, I don’t always leave comments either.

  77. I admit, I first found this site because of Scientology. There’s another website, called cultnews.net, which I check everyday. And it links to web articles from different sites that talk about various cults, including Scientology (& Mormons, polygamous churches, etc.) Often they link to articles on this site. In fact, this article was the top link last Friday.

So that’s where I first found it, early last year. And started checking it out. I eventually bookmarked this site directly, and I do read other articles, I just don’t often have anything to add, which is why I don’t comment. I usually only jump in if I think one of y’all is being a little too harsh (like with all of the Angelina-bashing, which I think is overboard, or the recent article about Faye Dunaway & Hilary Duff). But, other than that, I just read, and then move on. That’s probably what most folks do.
