  1. I get all teary eyed reading Jade Goody’s story. Some people criticize her for being in the public eye throughout this, but I truly believe deep down, she is doing it to show women everywhere just how important it is to go get an annual done for early detection. I had 6 precancerous spots removed, and am very vocal about how important it is, and as heart-breaking as Jade’s situation is, I applaud her for putting herself out there for young women to see just how important it is to keep up with their doctors. I hope her last days are painless. And I hope she knows just how much she has opened people’s eyes about something that can happen to any female at any age. I didn’t know who she was until I started reading about her cancer, but I know she influenced me to stay vocal, because it CAN happen to anyone.
