First time since her new hairdo–no, I think they mean first time since the adultery.

Just to clarify what I said, celebrity (or money) doesn’t change the person, but does magnify his/her strengths at weaknesses. Look at L. Ron Hubbard–after his windfall from dianetics, he could (and should) have retired, but noooooo…he started the Sea Org, fair game, etc. Then their are celebrities who keep a low profile and jst try to enjoy life (DiCaprio, Tom Hanks) because they don’t have a craving for power or attention. I suspect Kate always craved attention, and now just has an opportunity to get a lot of it.

Dawn, your article was clear, and the fact is that
money doesn’t change a person, just how a person is viewed. If you got $1million tomorrow in royalties, you would still be Dawn Olsen. You might seem more successful, but you will be the same person. If Kate hated the world before, then she still does because she is the same person. If 10% are like her, then there are 30 million people who like her in the US (ditto Rush Limbaugh, who commands huge audiences even though an even larger number of people Don’t like him).

Essentially I was pointing out the “why” she’s popular and continues to gain fans despite being a psychotic bitch. Basically there a lot of psychotic bitches out there and they can relate and therefore her extreme behavior makes us all feel better about our relatively mild mannered bitchiness.

Perhaps I didn’t do a very good job of making my point. I still think she’s the epitome of the c-word if that helps
