The government doesn’t do anything about spyentology because the government loves it’s money, if you think the fed aren’t just as corrupt and evil as the psychopaths in spyentolgy, you’re dreaming or on a heavy dose of a very powerful hallucinagen.

wikiped(o)ia is not, was not, and will not be a neutral “encyclopedic” place, and I encourage everyone that reads this to go elsewhere for information, do “original research” and form your own conclusions instead of expecting a fascist cabal of elitists to tell you anything. They are most certainly not neutral, and tend to have a group-think sort of hive going, I won’t waste you folk’s time by elaborating on that. (as for Elsewhere, I reccomend Wisegeek.com, howtodothings.com, yes this is legit… instructables.com is another good one.)

Note: when wiki(d) says “original research” what they mean is information that isn’t sponsored in some way or another; much like mainstream science and it’s “peer reviewed” journals…like socialism, it’s a nice concept but doesn’t work in the real world.

As for where else to get encyclopedic information, try the britanica, you can get ebooks of it all over the place, torrents, etc. or goto a used books store / library, that’s what they’re there for. As for conducting your own research, aside from those places, refdesk.com is a good place for all manner of things (it’s a reference desk afterall).
No I’m not trying to advertise, I’m just sharing some of the things I’ve found useful.

As to why the US govt. won’t do anything, good question. Cults are routinely prosecuted for child abuse, tax evasion, etc. (like the fundamentalist mormons) but not Co$. These other sects need to start complaining about selective prosecution.
