Damning Diagnosis For Health Fads Means Bad News For The People Who Offer Them, And Scientology

Aviva, is a health insurance firm in the UK.
They has just named the top ten health fads of the rich and famous and has deemed them a total waste of money and useless.

Bad news for all the centers and people who offer these treatments and most importantly, bad news for Scientology.

Why Scientology?
Because Scientology is BIG time into detoxing. And detoxing was number four on Aviva’s list.

Well hello Scientology’s Purification Rundown! A double shout out to Scientology’s NY Rescue Workers Detoxification  program. (which was spearheaded by Tom Cruise)

AND add to that list, is Scientology’s Narconon, Second Chance, Criminon or any of the many other names that Scientology hides this program behind. It’s all the SAME detox program. These programs are delivered by people without medical backgrounds and these centers and programs are all unlicensed. Shocked?

It’s hard to believe that someone would fork over so much money and sign up for such a grueling program without researching it first. It happens all the time to desperate families searching for a cure to get off drugs and states in the US have actually funded these programs with TAX PAYER’S DOLLLARS.

Celebrities and rich people are big targets for health fads, because they have the dough, they are vulnerable and I guess they just don’t do enough homework on the backgrounds of these treatments.

Aviva reported:

GPs have slammed the health-styles of the rich and famous, warning that UK women are wasting money and potentially risking their health following celebrity health fads like cupping, colonic irrigation or extreme detoxes.

GPs have named and shamed the ten most useless alternative health trends used by celebrities and their fans and, in a damning diagnosis, declared many a waste of money and with no medical value. The research was done for Aviva. To try each treatment on the GPs’ list could cost women more than £800.GPs have issued a stark warning that celebrities are having a dangerous level of influence over women’s health choices and that celebrity endorsement of unproven health treatments could be putting the public at risk.

Nine in ten women believe celebrities pay for the very best and most effective treatments. A third will try a health fad simply because a celebrity has used it. Seven in ten would try alternative treatments rather than visit their doctor.

Dr Douglas Wright for Aviva says, “We understand that people like to deal with their own well being in a number of ways, but too many women are wasting money following health fads that have little effect, Just because it is expensive, or rumoured to be a celebrity favourite, is not an automatic guarantee that a treatment will work. Some women are opting for treatment trends rather than seeking medical advice.”

The Daily Mail reported the top ten:

Cupping, a form of acupuncture in which heated cups are placed on the skin to stimulate blood flow and ease stress and pain, tops a list of ‘health hoaxes’ identified by GPs.

Second on the list is colonic irrigation, in which a large, water-filled tube is used to ‘cleanse’ the bowel.

Actor Ben Affleck has tried it, but there is no medical or scientific evidence it works, according to the NHS Choices website.

In third place is food intolerance testing, which singer Geri Halliwell has tried. Kits can cost up to £275 but the results are said to be highly variable.

The others in the top ten are: 4 detoxing; 5 macrobiotic diets; 6 aromatherapy; 7 reflexology; 8 vitamin B12 injections; 9 extreme yoga; 10 overnight health farm stays.
The list was compiled by insurance firm Aviva from a survey of 200 GPs.

Now although all of the top ten fads that Aviva named can be a waste of money, not all can be harmful. For instance, I doubt if cupping, food intolerance tests or extreme yoga (whatever that is) would be very harmful?

But detox is. I was REALLY pleased as punch to see detoxing on their list. Some of the detoxes out there can be quite harmful to the body. And of course one of the detoxes out there is Scientology’s Purification Rundown aka the “Purif” for short.

This regiment consists of ingesting oil, and mega doses of niacin aka “vitamin bombs”, LONG daily saunas that are up to five hours a day for five or more weeks and working out hard on a tread mill. Niacin in such high doses can be very harmful to the liver.

Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard also claimed that this program can rid the body of radiation . *snort!*

Recently, ABC Nightline interviewed Scientology defector, Amy Scobee, in a two part series along with other defectors.

Amy spoke about ”grey stuff” coming out of her pours from being on the Purification Rundown. She said she was FORCED to go on this program while she was in Scientology’s Sea Org and was put on a punishment called the RPF. (Rehabilitation Project Force)

Cult spokesman, Tommy Davis said that Amy was not forced to go on this program and that she used the program for “religious reasons”.

So…..
if the Rundown is “religious” as Davis states, then why is this same exact program used in Scientology’s Narconon and Criminon programs? And why are states funding these programs? Scientology has always claimed that Narconon and Criminon are separate from Scientology and non religious. Hmmm, which one is it Scientology? It can’t be both.

Scientology’s Narconon program has been banished from several countries.
Scientology was also recently convicted of fraud in France. One of the many charges involved it’s Purification Rundown. They were charged for dispensing vitamins without a license.
Thank you France!

Why doesn’t our government investigate Scientology? Especially after the numerous court cases filed against them. That is a real head scratcher, don’t you agree?

I guess it doesn’t bother our government that these programs are run by non professionals who have NO medical backgrounds. They are unlicensed and there isn’t any scientific data to back up their claims that the detox does ANYTHING beneficial for the body at all. In fact it is just the opposite.

Narconon’s outright lie of their 70% success rates (so laughable) of getting people off drugs with this detox regiment is utterly ridiculous. The government pretends to care about our well being, but they do nothing to stop this madness and allows Scientology to continue to prey on people who need REAL help.

Perhaps the insurance companies will do something about it? I doubt they will want to deal with cases filed with health related issues from these regiments. Easy solution… close all the Narconon and other Scientology detox centers down.

So what about the Scientology celebrities who support this pseudo science?

Before John Travolta’s son’s untimely death this past January, Travolta put his son Jett on this SAME regiment and openly admitted it. Did John and his wife Kelly Preston actually believe that this regiment would really help Jett with his seizures or autism? Well, obviously they did. They are taught to believe whatever their “church” says without questioning it.

I am not quite sure on how the Travoltas were able to put Jett through such a grueling program? I would think it would be very difficult to put ANY child on this program. I guess since John and Kelly are celebrities, and their cult convinced them that this was the right way to go according to their teachings, they will never be questioned further about it. *shakes head*

Their son has been gone now for 10 months and John and Kelly said they are having “daily religious sessions“ with Scientology.

So it looks like there is no hope for John leaving the cult. Him and bimbo wife Kelly will continue to follow a cult that tells them that all psyche drugs are bad, psychiatry is totally evil, that a body is just a “meat body”and that normal emotions like grieving and sadness are very low on the tone scale.

To suppress such normal emotions, especially when it comes to a child’s death, is downright ludicrous and very dangerous to some one’s well being.

A little bit of info on some of the emotions listed on Scientology’s tone scale:

The tone scale states that grieving is 0.5 (out of a possible plus 40) Sympathy is 0.9, and NO Sympathy is higher at a 1.2.
Oh! and regret weighs in at a whopping 1.3.

Nope, I am not making this up. Look it up for yourself. This is what every Scientologist believes. From Tom Cruise, to all Scientology members. I am not going to get into their whole Xenu alien belief system, as many religions have strange beliefs to some. People can believe in whatever they want and that is their right. BUT! when it comes to harming people both mentally and physically, family disconnection, other abuses, human trafficking, and forced abortions, something must be done about it.

Of course Scientology tells it’s members that the Purification Rundown is a wonderful and beneficial thing, and members do not question it. I read the program costs a member $15,000 (that price was from 1992) I am pretty sure that price has doubled. That’s a lot of money for oil, vitamins a couple of courses and a tone scale chart.

We all remember what Katie Holmes looked like after she went on this regiment. Her pictures were plastered everywhere showing her gaunt, pale, and sickly. She went on this program before she became pregnant. Great Tom, you’re my hero.

Katie also wore gloves for quite a while because her hands were purple from all the niacin she was ingesting. Oh Katie, how many times do we have to tell you? Run!

Katie Looking More Like Grandma Cruise

So people save your money. Do some research. If the fad you are following is not dangerous and you have the dough, and it makes you think that you feel better, then that’s your business and good luck to you. But if it is harmful, and being delivered by non professionals with no medical backgrounds and there is NO scientific proof of it’s success besides patient testimonies, BEWARE and I say stay away.

It is obvious many of the states who have funded and continue to fund this “drug treatment” program, have not done their homework at all, when it comes to Scientology’s Purification Rundown. State officials MUST check backgrounds and research the name of these drug treatments being offered. Don’t forget, they are using your tax payer dollars to fund these programs. People must learn to read the fine print. If the name L. Ron Hubbard is found ANYWHERE within the program, then it is Scientology lock stock and barrel. No question about it.

These programs are also allowed to continue in our prison systems, which goes by the name of Criminon, or Second Chance and other names. And of course many Scientology members, both public and on staff do this regiment.

You can find Narconon, Second Chance and other names used for drug rehab all over the Internet, even though many centers are closed. They advertise in college fliers on campus, they take out adds in newspapers, they hand out pamphlets in our schools. So Beware!

How is Scientology allowed to continue this giant farce? Especially for the fact that is is also all about indoctrination into Scientology down the line. It really blows my mind how our government continues to allow such idiocy.

Luckily, some states have wised up.
New Mexico was not only duped, by the Second Chance program, they were left with a hefty unpaid bill. And some other areas in other states have thankfully shown these Scientology programs the door. France finally convicted Scientology, and I hope the US follows suit and also puts an end to it and banishes all their drug treatment centers. Enough is enough.

If you have or know a family member or friend who is considering going to Narconon, Second Chance or any drug treatment, please warn them to do their homework first! Also If you have a friend or family member in jail who was put on this program or offers this program, you have been warned.

Help lift the veil of secrecy off Scientology. Write or call your town officials, heads of state, write to Obama, join an anti Scientology protest and let your voice be heard and say the Church of Scientology needs to be investigated and held accountable for all of it’s human rights abuses, phony drug treatment centers and all the lives they have ruined and continue to ruin.

We will continue reporting the abuses of Scientology until someone listens and something is done about it.

Cult Of Scientology Convicted Of Fraud In France

Church of Scientology lawyer Patrick Maisonneuve

Not a good week for the cult of Scientology!
On the heels of Scientology’s spokesman Tommy Davis’s disastrous interview on ABC’s Nightline last week, comes more news of Scientology’s downward spiral.

It has just been announced, that France has convicted Scientology of fraud. This news must have Scientology’s cult leader David Miscavige in quite the tizzy. Still nothing to say Miscavige?
David Miscavige is obvioulsy playing a “Where’s Waldo?” in all this breaking news.

The cult was also fined more than 600,000 euro. This is equivalent to $900,000 US. Almost a cool million. The court convicted the cult library (SEL bookshop) as well as SIX LEADERS. Scientology was found guilty of pressuring members to pay large amounts of cash by using harassment tactics, and also illegally dispensing vitamins.

Four of the leaders were given suspended sentences which can be anywhere from ten months to two years and the other two leaders were given fines.
Of course Scientology is going to appeal this verdict. Which is no surprise there.

Although prosecutors were going for an all out ban on Scientology in France, the court recently denied the ban. But even though Scientology has not been banned from France, this latest PR flap can’t be good news for Scientology, who desperately tries to hide all negative PR from it’s members.

The Infinate Complaceny Blog Webiste did a wonderful break down of the story (Much thanks to Jonny Jacobsen):

Here is a summary of the verdict and sentences in the Paris trial of Scientology. I have laid it out in the same style I used for What the Prosecution Wants to give you an idea of how far the court followed their recommendations.

Perhaps the most important feature of the judgement is what the court did not do: it made no ruling that would restrict the activities of either the Celebrity Centre or the SEL bookshop.

But the following individuals and organisations were convicted of organised fraud against some, but not all the alleged victims (of which more below):

The Association Spirituelle de l’Eglise de Scientologie CC (ASES), the Celebrity Centre, was convicted of organised fraud against the plaintiffs Aude-Claire Malton and Eric Aubry.

It was fined 400,000 euros and ordered to pay for the details of the conviction to be published in the major French and English-language news outlets including Le Monde, Le Figaro, Libération, the Herald Tribune and Time Magazine.

Scientology’s network of bookshops Scientologie Espace Liberté (SEL) was also convicted of organised fraud against the Malton and Aubry. It was fined 200,000 euros and ordered to pay for the publication of the conviction in the same newspapers.

These were the sentences for the individual defendants charged on this count, against either Malton, Aubry or both plaintiffs:

Alain Rosenberg, the managing director of the Celebrity Centre, was convicted of organised fraud against Malton and Aubry; and of complicity in the illegal exercise of pharmacy. He received a two-year suspended prison sentence and a 30,000-euro fine

Didier Michaux, the bookshop’s star salesman, was convicted of organised fraud against Eric Aubry – but cleared on the same charge relating to Aude-Claire Malton. He received an 18-month suspended sentence and a 20,000-euro fine

Jean-François Valli, the other bookshop salesman, who also did work for the Celebrity Centre, was convicted of organised fraud against Aude-Claire Malton – but cleared on the same charge relating to Aubry. He received an 18-months suspended sentence and a 10,000-euro fine

Sabine Jacquart, who was president of the Celebrity Centre, was convicted of organised fraud against both Malton and Aubry; and of complicity in the illegal exercise of pharmacy. She received a 10-month suspended sentence and a 5,000-euro fine

Aline Fabre, who supervised the Purification Rundown at the Celebrity Centre, was convicted of the illegal exercise of pharmacy. She was fined 2,000 euros

Marie Anne Pasturel, who acted as an intermediary for G&G in France, taking orders for the vitamins required for the Rundown, was convicted of the illegal exercise of pharmacy and fined 1,000 euros.
All the defendants charged in relation to Pierre Auffret and his company Parangon – the Celebrity Centre, the bookshop SEL, Rosenberg, Jacquart, Valli, Michaux – were acquitted.

The court took into account the fact that Auffret himself had not filed a complaint: and he had insisted to investigators that any payments he had made were made willingly.

Neither Alain Rosenberg nor Anne Marie Pasturel attended the hearing.

Despite the guilty verdict and the fines, Maître Patrick Maisonneuve for the Celebrity Centre and Maître Louis Pamponet for the bookshop SEL (I think it was him) both looked extremely relieved – presumably because there was no attempt by the court to restrict the activities of either organisation.

FYI…
Alain Rosenberg, the managing director of the Celebrity Center in France, is an OTVII on Scientology’s Bridge to Total Freedom. He is one step away from the highest level on their bridge, which is OTVIII.
It’s amazing that his “OT powers” which have control over MEST (which is short for matter, energy, space and time) seemed to be totally on the fritz, and failed miserably during this court case.
Looks like you “pulled this in” Alain. Looks like the court was the one who was “at cause”.

To read more about Rosenberg and the case go here.

So back to this verdict..
So although France found them guilty and issued fines, France is not going to restrict Scientology’s activities?
So does that mean there will be more court hearings and fines down the line?
Hopefully….. that’s if more victims come forward and fight the cult.

Scientology was convicted of “illegal exercise of pharmacy”, but France is still going to allow Scientology to resume with their Purification Rundown? I am afraid I don’t understand.
Is Scientology going to continue to illegally dispense vitamins in hopes that more deaths and court cases will not occur in France?

The Purification Rundown for all of you who do not know what that is… is a Scientology program used to rid the body of toxins. (so they claim)
It involves ingesting LARGE doses of niacin vitamins and oil, running on a treadmill and sitting in a sauna for hours at a time daily. This regiment can last for FIVE weeks. It has NEVER been proven to have ANY beneficial qualities, nor does it have any scientific data to back up it’s claims of the regiment being successful with removing ANY toxins from the body at all. In fact it has been said that it is nothing but quackery and that large amounts of niacin can prove to be very dangerous to the liver.

The Purification Rundown, (also know as Narconon and Criminon) needs to be looked into extensively by the US Government and ALL Governments. Narconon goes into towns and sets up centers and claims they can cure drug addiction. They not only lie about their success rates with trumped up numbers, they talk towns into funding them with tax payer’s dollars. They also use the teachings of L. Ron Hubbard’s tone scale.

This program has gone under the names Second Chance, HealthMed Clinic and The NY Rescue Workers Detoxification Program (after 9/11) just to name a few. There are many other front group names they have used world wide.

The recently reported tragic deaths of those people in the sweat lodge in Arizona, received a lot of media coverage. It’s a wonder why our Government has not looked into the many deaths which have been related to this particular program.

Of course people are afraid to speak out against Scientology, never mind bring them to court. Hopefully this latest conviction in France will sway not only Scientology members to come forward with their stories, and perhaps file cases, but I hope it prompts non Scientology members who have also done The Purification Program through Narconon in hopes of being helped with their drug addiction. Second Chance and Criminon inmates also should be interviewed about this program.

I am sure Scientology will be on full damage control and looking for any Narconon or member success stories they can shove in people’s faces through the media, in light of France’s conviction. But please know that any success stories you hear, does not stack up against the fail rate of this program in any stretch of the imagination.

This news from France is especially bad on top of the latest Nightline stories that we just saw in recent days, and it was also announced today by the NY Post, that Tommy Davis tried to stop Nightline from airing these programs one hour before they were to air, made a scene and was asked to leave. Read about it here.
Wish there was film on that little hissy fit!

And oh yes….. not to mention the very recent defection of one of Scientology’s long time members, celebrity Paul Haggis. Again welcome out Paul!

Scientology members…. are you paying attention?

To France….
you almost had Scientology completely on the run. But this is good news too.
Although the fines and sentences are nothing more than slaps on the wrist to a multi million dollar BUSINESS, and they will be able to continue to do what they were doing to bring them to court in the first place, at least it’s a start in the right direction of unveiling the illegal activities of this abusive cult.

We need a LOT more of that going on, especially here in the United States.

David Hasselhoff Is At It Again! *Hic!*

What’s That I Hear? Trouble Knocking Once Again?

It wasn’t too long ago, that we reported that David Hasselhoff aka The Hoff  had once again fell off the wagon.

Who can forget Hoff in a drunken stupor laying on the floor eating a hamburger and his daughter Taylor filming the whole thing. In the  sad video, you can hear his daughter pleading with him and asking him to promise her that he will stop drinking.

Well I guess her wishes are trashed once again. As Hoff got totally trashed at Simon Cowell’s b-day bash recently.
He was SO trashed, that Hoff tried to punch his assistant because his assistant called for help. Hoff missed the assistant, and punched a doctor by mistake. He was then locked up in the hotel basement until the ambulance arrived.
Bravo Hoff! Way to go!

So I guess when he means don’t hassle the Hoff, you best not hassle the Hoff!

Eonline reported:

America’s Got Talent judge David Hasselhoff clearly has a talent…for bad publicity, if nothing else. According to reports, the Baywatch bruiser and popular-in-Germany crooner had too much to drink and slugged the doctor at his London hotel after returning from Simon Cowell’s birthday bash.

The semi reliable New York Post and the oft-dubious U.K. Sun report that Hasselhoff was actually trying to slug his assistant for calling the doctor. According to a source close to the actor, “David was furious and lashed out at him—but he mistakenly hit the doctor.”

The source added that, “David is very hard to handle when he drinks, often very emotional and aggressive. On this occasion he…was becoming a real pain to the staff.”

Hasselhoff reportedly had to be locked in the hotel basement until an ambulance arrived, according to the Sun. He was later taken to London’s Capio Nightingale Hospital, where he reportedly spent two nights in a private room before being released yesterday.
Stay tuned.

“Stay tuned” for what?
There have been SO many reports of Hoff crawling back into that bottle. He was denied boarding a plane at London’s Heathrow airport a while back because he was so lit. Of course his reps denied he was drunk.

He was recently hospitalized because he was found dizzy and unstable. His reps again denied he was drinking and said that the rumors were “complete fabrications” and that Hoff was taking anti nausea drugs for recovering alcoholics.
Uh… sorry, I am not buying it.

To continually hear that Hoff is not getting any better is just sad. Hoff has a huge following, especially in Germany and I am sure his fans are rooting for him to kick that bottle to the curb.

There are also many Knight Rider fans out there. Too bad Kitt wasn’t around to tell Hoff to knock it off. Maybe he would listen to Kitt. Nothing else has worked.

I always thought Hoff was a big goofball, but of course I still wish him the best. He has two beautiful daughters who need him to be a responsible father. Or at least awake at the very least.
But so far, he continues to jump off the wagon.

So back to his recent escapade…

The superficial, another source wrote:

The bender began at the weekend when the US actor joined about 400 A-listers at X Factor supremo Simon Cowell’s posh birthday party. He got smashed and was escorted out of a side door and back to the hotel.
A source close to the star said: “David is very hard to handle when he drinks, often very emotional and aggressive. On this occasion he became so drunk he wet his hotel bed – ruining two mattresses – and was becoming a real pain for staff. His assistant Joe Townley was so concerned he called out a doctor. David was furious and lashed out at him – but mistakenly hit the doctor.
“They decided they had no option but to lock him in the basement until an ambulance arrived.”

Well Hoff is definitely off my holiday party guest list this year. *snicker*

But seriously, Hoff’s reps can’t keep lying for him. It becomes more than obvious that he has not stopped drinking. You can only cry wolf so many times.

Hey Hoff, once again….
Please get your sh*t together. Climb back on that wagon, there is plenty of room.
If not for yourself, then at least do it for your two beautiful daughters.

Courtney Love Plans “To Sue The Sh*t Out Of Activision”

Wake Up Courtney! Time To Go To Court!

Courtney Love.
Just the name conjures up the feeling of Ewww.

Courtney has her knickers in a bunch (when are they not in a bunch?) over the way Activision used ex hubby Kurt Cobain’s image in Guitar Hero 5.

The agreement was to supposedly have Cobain sing only two songs in the game, which of couse incuded Smells Like Teen Spirit.  But Cobain’s character in the game is an unlockable character.

Cobain Ala Activision

For all you non gamers out there, an unlockable character means the gamer can make the image do other things. Like sing other performer’s songs.

So Love and former Nirvana band mates, David Grohl and Krist Novoselic, were not too tickled when they found out that Cobain is singing songs by Jon Bon Jovi and Bush in the game. (the band Bush that is, not Dubya, although that would be a riot)

Ex Nirvana band members were quoted about their dismay:

“While we were aware of Kurt’s image being used with two Nirvana songs, we didn’t know players have the ability to unlock the character,” they said.
“This feature allows the character to be used with any kind of song the layer wants. We urge Activision to do the right thing in ‘re-locking’ Kurt’s character so that this won’t continue in the future.”

Courtney called the avatar “vile” and “necrophilic” and Twittered:

” This Guitar Hero shit is breach of contract. I think Kurt would despise this game alone let alone this avatar.. We are going to sue the shit out of Activison”

When it comes to vile and necrophilic. Ms Love takes the cake.
We all know how vile she can be. And someone would have to be into necrophilia to be attracted to her these days.

As of late, Love has been looking mighty bad. The recent photo below, shows her beyond scrawny and way up there on the “Ewwww” scale.

Love Looking Like Death Warmed Over

I think it’s pretty cool that Activision agreed to include Cobain in their game at all. Love and ex band members should be thankful that Activision is keeping his memory and Nirvana’s music alive.

The ex band members are asking Activision to come up with a patch, so Cobain’s character stays locked. Fair enough, but a computer geek friend told me it can’t be done once the game is out. Don’t know if this is totally correct.

Love has her lawyer, Keith A. Finch on the case and he seems to think she indeed has a case.

Finch said,
“Activision was not given an unbridled right to use Kurt Cobain’s name and likeness. As for Cobain, his journals suggest that he’d be less than pleased about a game that shows him belting out “You Give Love A Bad Name”.
Writing about Bon Jovi in the late 1980’s, he issued a one word review: Evil.”

Well, I am not a fan of Bon Jovi myself, but I think the word evil to describe them is a bit silly and over the top. I am sure if Cobain was still alive today, I think his opinion would have matured a bit.

Besides, Nirvana was nothing to write home about. Nirvana themselves weren’t some ultra fabulous band. They were nothing more than a 90’s garage grunge band that literally “stepped in it”. And don’t even get me started on Love’s band “Hole”.

But hey, that’s my taste. Obviously if Nirvana sold over twenty-five million albums in the US, and over fifty million worldwide, they were very much admired.

But why some people continue to think that Cobain was some sort of iconic rock God is beyond me. He was a junkie who had a very short career, a raspy nothing voice and he had an average band. He met Love in 1990, they got married in 1992, and Cobain shot himself in 1994. (supposed self inflicted gun shot wound)
Many people blame Love for Cobain’s untimely demise. I guess we will never actually know the truth.

If you are driving around Aberdeen, Washington, you will see a sign which reads, “Welcome To Aberdeen Come As You Are”, which was purchased by the Kurt Cobain Memorial Committee back in 2004 as a tribute to Cobain. If you are not famaliar with Nirvana’s music… “Come As You Are” is of course one of their songs.

Let’s also not forget that Love and Cobain had a daughter, Francis Bean. I am sure her life has been far from enchanted due to her father’s death and her whacked out mother.

So back to the lawsuit…
Ms. Love is not a stranger to lawsuits by any means. That is, people suing HER of course.

She was recently sued this past May by American Express for not paying $350,000 in charges. (gee I thought my card was bad)

Contactmusic.com wrote:

COURTNEY LOVE is facing a legal battle with American Express over the credit card company’s claims she has racked up more than $350,000 (£233,000) in unpaid charges.
The firm filed suit against Love in the U.S. District Court on Wednesday (27May09), demanding the rocker pay off the staggering debt on her Gold card.

The former Hole frontwoman had her plastic privileges suspended after she “failed and refused” to clear the balance, according to the lawsuit.
Love has been continuously struggling with her finances in recent years – it emerged in April (09) she had hired a team of private investigators to reclaim the millions of dollars she alleged were stolen from her late husband Kurt Cobain’s estate.
And just last year (08), Love was sued for $1 million (£667,000) by London & Co., an accounting firm which charged the star had failed to pay them profits from the sale of Cobain’s share of the Nirvana publishing catalogue.
A spokesperson for Love was unavailable for comment as WENN went to press.

Well, isn’t that interesting? She has two huge companies suing her.
Doesn’t stop there…
She also is being sued by her former body guard for $60,000.

TMZ wrote:

It costs a lot of money to keep the world safe from Courtney Love – her former bodyguards say she stiffed them out of $60,000 this year.

Screen International Security Services filed a lawsuit today in L.A. County Superior Court, claiming they provided “security services, in connection with the protection of Love, her family members, and her property” between April and August of this year.

SISS says Love never paid a penny for services rendered — totaling $58,222.50 — and are suing for the full amount plus interest.

Love’s attorney just sent us the following statement:

This lawsuit should be placed in the Wikipedia page next to chutzpah. It has no merit and is based on a private security company’s attempt to fleece a celebrity.

SISS is claiming it is owed money for providing around the clock security for Ms. Cobain and her daughter at the St. Ives home for a period of time she and her daughter were NOT living at that home but were living at the Chateau Marmont. SISS has no written agreement with Ms Cobain to support their claim and on its face it is ludicrous.

SISS was paid a substantial sum for the “service” it provided while they were living at that home. Despite knowing that Ms. Cobain and her daughter had moved out of the home they continued to provide security to an empty home by having someone sit in a car all day eating a ham sandwich while the Cobains were residing miles away!!!

AND her snarkiness doesn’t end there.
In 2007, Love was also quoted as saying,

“I’m going to have a Christie’s auction,” to hock the bulk of Cobain’s belongings with a portion going to charity.”

I don’t know if this auction ever took place, I couldn’t find anything else about it.”

So do you think Love is really upset over this whole Guitar Hero thang? Or is she looking for some quick cash in all the wrong places? (see what I did there?)

Her lawsuit with Activision is starting to “smell like ”GLEAN” spirit to me”. *snicker*

Seems to me, that she has been living off Kurt’s fame and money for years, and doesn’t plan on stopping.
The lyrics from her song, “Celebrity” say it all.
Use Once and Destroy“.

Now don’t get me wrong. I am all for performers getting credit where credit is due. And if there is a huge copyright issue, then it should be dealt with.

I think Cobain being included in Guitar Hero 5 was a compliment and an honor to both Cobain and the remaining members of Nirvana. And now Cobain will be forever immortalized in the gaming world. If gamers want to be more respectful, I guess they can always choose for Cobain to only sing the two songs by Nirvana. Easy solution. Those who don’t care, will have him wailing Bon Jovi.

As far as Courtney Love?
What about your daughter Francis Bean Courtney?
Doesn’t she deserve better?
Clean up your act and grow up woman.
And for God’s sakes, wash your hands and clean those damn fingernails!

Tawny Kitaen Busted For DUI, Here She Goes Again!

Looks like Tawny Kitaen just can’t stay out of trouble.

Tawny aka Julie “Tawny” Kitaen starred in Bachelor Party with Tom Hanks back in 1984. She was also in a movie that she is probably not too proud of called The Perils of Gwendoline in the Land of the Yik-Yak  aka Gwendoline in 1985 and then a horror flick, Witchboard in 1986.
Gwendoline was about:

” a 1985 erotic adventure based on a French comic strip. Stowing away on a China-bound freighter to search for her long-lost father, virginal Gwendoline (Kitaen) ends up in the clutches of randy sailors — till a daring adventurer (Brent Huff) saves her. Heading upriver to find Gwen’s dad, they soon crosses paths with the female warriors of the Yik Yak tribe.”

Wow! How she was able to get any work after that movie is pretty amazing.

Tawny is most famous for her romp atop the hood of a jag in a video for Whitesnake. For all you youngins’ out there… Whitesnake was a big hair rock band back in the 1980’s.

The video she starred in was for their song “Here I Go Again” sung by her ex HUSBAND, lead singer. David Coverdale. (ick… sorry, he always grossed me out)
For a blast from the past, click here to watch a fuzzy version of her friskyvideo that guys are stil talking about today.

Her marriage to Coverdale only lasted a few years. And six years later in 1997, she married St. Louis Cardinals pitcher, Chuck Finley. They had two children Wynter and Raine.

Earlier Picture Of Much Happier Times

But trouble came knocking again when Tawny was arrested for beating Finely with one of her stiletto heels while he was driving and she was on the passenger seat.  MEOW!
Yeah, I know all the guys out there are probably thinking that sounds crazy sexy and hot. But sorry guys, it’s just crazy. And that little tiff could have killed the both of them.

Needless to say, three days later and not surprisingly, Finely filed for a divorce, which ended their five year marriage. And it’s also when the custody battle started for their kids.

Tawny continued her spiral down with continuing her addiction to drugs and alcohol. She starred in the sixth edition of Surreal Life and I remember watching that show. She really came off as quite the whack job. It was evident that she was high as a kite on that show. (well to me anyways)

She continued her reality show career on a stint with Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew. I also watched this show.

Tawny with Dr. Drew

She was totally different on this show compared to her behavior on the Surreal Life. I thought she was doing pretty good, by the end of the show and she also “graduated”. (of course we all know to take these shows with a grain of salt and that the reality part of these shows is pretty slim)

On VH1’s Celebrity Rehab website , it read:

Tawny thanked fellow rehabbers for giving her hope, and friendship, something she really hasn’t had in the past.

I wonder what ex husband Finely thought about that statement?

Tawny then went on to an outpatient program in Newport Beach, so that she can be close to her family. Sure glad that she didn’t pick to go Scientology’s phony Narconon program and I hope she never does. Why am I mentioning Scientology? Because Scientology pounced on another rehabber from the show, Jeff Conoway when he left the show early.

Thanks to fellow Grease star, John Travolta. Travolta gave Conoway a whole library of Scientology books and the service of a Scientology ”auditor” who visited Conoway almost every day. Out of the pan and into the fire I say. Shame on Travolta for getting Conoway mixed up in the cult. Just utterly sickening.

Even though Conoway may have been tricked into thinking that Scientology actually helped him kick his addiction, their success rate for helping drug addiction through their Purification Rundown is actually like 6%. Not the trumped up numbers they lie about.

I haven’t heard anything further on Conoway and Scientology. I hope he dumped them like a lead balloon and finds some REAL help and without the cameras rolling this time.

Let’s hope the Scientology vultures keep their mitts off Tawny, as she would be the perfect candidate with her rocky past, her fragile state of mind and her addictions. Which to Scientology…Tawny would be “fresh meat” and prime for the picking.

So what is going on with Tawny now?
Well that brings us up to her latest escapade of getting pulled over for alleged  *snicker* DUI.

Eonline wrote:

Better get Dr. Drew on the phone.

Celebrity Rehab alum Tawny Kitaen was taken into custody Saturday afternoon near John Wayne Airport in Santa Ana, Calif., on suspicion of driving under the influence.

The 48-year-old former actress/reality star allegedly “made contact with officers after operating a vehicle while under the influence,” according to Sgt. Shontel Sherwood of the Newport Beach Police Department.

Kitaen, who has also appeared on VH1’s The Surreal Life, was busted in 2006 on drug possession charges, after police found 15 grams of cocaine in her San Juan Capistrano apartment.

The Whitesnake music video babe struck a plea deal with prosecutors in which they agreed to drop the felony drug charges after she completed a drug treatment program.

Geez Tawny!
Two failed marriages, drug addiction, alcohol problems, busted for felony drug possession and two rehab failures. Yikes! Aren’t you done yet?

So I wasn’t too surprised when I saw that the LA Times reported this past March that she put up her house up for sale in Newport Beach with an asking price is $3.45 million. *shakes head*

Egad Tawny!
Get your sh*t together! You have two kids!
You have obviously ignored several GIANT wake up calls.
Save what’s left of your life and got off that roller coaster before you become a statistic.

If not for you, then do it for your two kids who deserve to have their Mom be there for them.

Bobby Brown Is Headed For Celebrity Fit Club, Whitney Houston Hits The Stage

Well, well looks like Bobby Brown has packed on the pounds. Bobby
and his double chin will be sweating it out on “Celebrity Fit Club” scheduled to air in 2010.

According to TMZ, he will be joined by cast members from “High School Musical”, “Baywatch” and “The Practice,” which will include Shar Jackson, Nicole Eggert, Tanisha Thomas, Casey Stroh, and Michael Badalucco. Is this the best Celebrity Fit Club can come up with?

I wonder if Bobby, who has always been tough to handle (to say the least) will succumb to the grueling boot camp and all the rules of “Celebrity Fit Club.” Many “stars” *cough* before him, like for instance Dustin (a-hole) Diamond aka “Screech” of “Saved By The Bell” fame, did not fair too well and had too much of an attitude to be on the show and ended up leaving.

Bobby’s track record of being an abusive crack smoking husband
married to Whitney Houston (although she is not innocent by any means) certainly has crushed his popularity over the years.

Bobby better decide if he still wants to use his “My Prerogative” attitude or man up and stay on the show.

I happen to catch Bobby on D.L. Hughley’s show one night, and he sang My Prerogative, (it WAS a kick ass dance song) or I should say, he attempted to sing it. It was SO bad, it was painful to hear. His years of drug abuse, alcoholism and cigarettes really reeked havoc on his voice. It was totally shot. Don’t get me wrong, I do not have one smidgen of sympathy for this man.

His years or partying, abuse and just being an all around IDIOT have really caught up to him.

A Young Bobby Brown Back In  The Day

It's anyone's bet whether or not Brown will show up on "Celebrity Fit Club." The man can not seem to stay out of trouble. After all... he has been juggling living at two different homes over the years. *snicker*

But then again, ”reality” tv shows have to film their shows way in advance, so maybe this show has already wrapped?  Who knows. I just may have to tune into Celebrity Fit Club this time around, just to see Bobby sweating his butt off and being told what to do.

Will Whitney be at home watching with a big tub of popcorn? I only hope she will be tickled silly over getting to see a little pay back
served up to Brown, rather than her cheering him on, because I never want to see Whitney, or anyone for that matter, looking like this again.

Crack is Definitely Whack!

To be fair, Bobby wasn’t all to blame for their insane relationship. It takes two to tango don’t forget. (geez! I sound like my Dad)
They were total partners in crime. And she should have left long ago. And of course Brown has always said that he never did cocaine before Whitney came along. HIS WORDS. Yeah ok.

I just know that I saw Whitney go from a vibrant and beautiful singer to an abused and skinny drug abuser after the two of them hooked up.

Their reality show they did together, “Being Bobby Brown” was short lived and a disaster, and Whitney ended up paying a huge price for standing by her man.

Now I was never a Whitney Houston fan, “I Will Always Love You,” has always pierced my brain, but she does have a beautiful voice. Even though her music is not my style, I do hope her recovery continues and that “The Voice” is able to get more of it back.

Her recent appearance singing on “Good Morning America” in Central Park and her talk with Oprah had her fans out in droves. Houston’s interview with Oprah was a far cry from her raspy voiced  interview with Diane Sawyer on Prime Time  (part 1) back in 2002, which is where her infamous “crack Is whack” quote came from. It was beyond obvious that she was in much denial, and very defensive. And Here is Part 2 of the interview, where she talks about her past missed appearances, drugs and actual footage of their marriage to Brown along with their 800 guests in her $40,000 wedding gown.

In that interview, Whitney and Bobby were already married for 10 years and at that time she said she didn’t want to let go of Brown. I am just glad, as well as her fans, she finally did let go of him.
Bobby ends up joining the interview later on and denied he ever hit her and he said he was diagnosed as being bi-polar and denied all other drug use except smoking pot. *snicker* (Here are parts 3, 4, and 5 of that  2002 interview  if you are interested.)

Whitney’s recent interview with Oprah was like night and day in comparison to the interview with Diane Sawyer back in 2002. She looked like Whitney again. Finally Whitney came clean about the drug abuse, Bobby’s physical abuse and his infidelity and how her mother saved her life with an intervention and valiantly had Whitney removed from her house and forced her into rehab. Thank you Mom!

Her recent performance on GMA in Central Park definitely showed how much her voice has suffered from years of ”partying” and it was quite obvious that she wasn’t able to sing all the parts of the song and she seemed quite winded.

Rumors have it that ABC “digitally sweetened” her songs as reported by Gawker. But  it didn’t matter to her fans one iota, who seemed very elated to see her and were there to support her. Whitney is very fortunate that so many of her fans have never left her side.

Now back to Bobby…

Bobby’s fans? He has never had anywhere near as many as Whitney to begin with, and the ones he had, I think have totally given up on him for the most part. Partly because he has dropped out of the music scene long ago and because people blamed Bobby for ruining Whitney’s life.

The man has always been his own demise. So your guess is as good as mine as to what the future will hold for him. My gut feeling is that he isn’t done abusing himself or others and he may stay clean for a while, but I don’t know how long that will last.

He is destined for a meeting with karma somewhere down the line, and he’s the only one who can change that.

What Is Wrong With Juliette Lewis?

Recently, Juliette Lewis was interviewed by Craig Ferguson on The Late Late Show. What the hell is wrong with her? Really? Yeah, I know she has always been wacky, but she sounds totally out of her mind now more than ever.

I was surprised that Craig Ferguson even had her as a guest on the show and that she agreed to go on the show to begin with, especially since he has been mocking Scientology pretty heavily for quite a while now. But as usual, I would imagine because Lewis is a celebrity (I use the term lightly), that she is out of the loop as far as what is going on in the real world. Particularly if its anything anti-Scientology.

I believe that Ferguson was mocking her during the whole interview and she was too dumb to realize it. After all, Ferguson did do a parody of the famous Tom Cruise Scientology video, and seems to enjoy being snide at Scientology’s expense.

Lewis was being interviewed for her new CD called Terra Incognita. Rolling Stone gave it 2 1/2 stars. I think they were being a bit generous, okay, A LOT generous.

Not surprising to me was the fact that Terra Incognita is also the name of an article written in 1949 by Scientology cult founder L. Ron Hubbard and published in The Explorers Journal. The title of the piece was “Terra Incognita: The Mind”

Not terribly shocking, when you consider the fact Lewis is a raging Scientologist and sadly was born into it. Shame on Lewis’ parents.
Her Scientology records, shows that she went “clear” in 1997, and she has been quite the busy gal at the Celebrity Cente, spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on courses and auditing.

Her Scientology records also show she did the dangerous Purification Rundown in 1993. Juliette has also been on the Scientology cruise ship the Freewinds twice. Which means she has been exposed to asbestos twice, since it wasn’t until April 2008 when the Freewinds was shut down by the Curacao Drydock Company due to the blue asbestos on board. I also doubt Juliette knows how much of a polluter the operators of the Freewinds are.

Although she supposedly legally emancipated from her parents at age 14, I still say shame on her parents for getting her into Scientology.

Her Mom is Glenis Batley, a graphic designer and her Dad is, actor Geoffrey Lewis. He is also listed as a “clear” in the Scientology database. He is in a band called Celestial Navigations with fellow Scientologist Geoff Levin (whom he met at the Celebrity Center) Celestial Navigations is a band which started out in the late 60’s and began touring again a couple of years ago.

The band uses story telling. together with music and is way, WAY out there. I did a quickie look around their MySpace page and website and knew immediately I fell into a L. Ron Hubbard Scientology blackhole. So a word of caution, if you hear that Celestial Navigations is performing or doing a “benefit”, please know that the proceeds from your ticket purchase may just end up in Scientology’s pockets down the line.

Scientology artists sneak things into songs all the time. Several of Beck’s songs and titles have Scientology references — which all sucked. As we mentioned in a previous article, Beck did a “benefit” concert and did not tell his fans that the proceeds were going to a Scientology front group called Educating Children International. Slick move Beck.

So back to Juliette on The Late Show…

She was babbling on about being inspired by pixie dust and magic, and said:

“You know, the kind that lives in your imagination”.

Of course we know Juliette.

She goes on about her outfit, (which by the way I have to give her credit for those fabulous boots) and how she doesn’t wear animal fur (good girl) and explains that her outfit has feathers on it, not fur, and that when birds drop their feathers, you can pick them up and then put them in your clothes.  I do that all the time myself. You should see my pigeon sweater. Ick!

They discussed her new CD,  and the CD cover, which pictures her pulling a bull by a red rope. She says it was a vision that came to her and that it was a metaphor for so many things. Emphasis on the BULL Juliette.

So what has Juliette said about her band “The Licks” in the past:

“Disillusionment, joy and pain, the contrast of sound… heaven and earth, really groovy big-bottom bass and drums and then very atmospheric mercurial guitars. I was trying to get my sonic soul poured out on record. It’s like heaven in a vat of lava that’s about to explode.”

Ummmm yeah. Well I have heard the Licks and I do agree on one thing she said. The word pain. They are very painful to watch. Speaking of painful. If you didn’t catch her singing (I use the term VERY lightly)  ”I Will Survive” with Eve at a Detroit night club prepare to cringe. Click Here

This is the kind of crap that makes me nuts. With all the people trying to make it in the music industry today, along comes doofus Juliette Lewis and the Licks, who simply can’t sing a lick, or play for that matter, yet, they are getting gigs. Just sickening.

Juliette did announce on the show that her band was no longer going to be called The Licks, as one of the “band” members is going in another direction. Smart move dude.

As the interview continues, Lewis mentions sky diving out of nowhere. Do you think she is possibly suffers from ADD? It would make sense. Although of course any mental problems she may have do not exist in Scientology land.

Call me crazy, but I think this interview may have hurt the few sales she would have had for her CD? Of course that’s not counting all the Scientologists who are told to buy more than one copy. (suckers)

You just have to simply watch the clip of The Late Show yourself, so you can see exactly what I am talking about. Click here and be horrified.

To complete the torture, Lewis also performed a song on the show.
WHY? I hate to keep repeating myself… but again, there are so many talented people out there who will never get the chance to make it, and here’s Juliette Lewis stinking up the stage. Click here and be disappointed.

Between her former drug problems, alcohol use and Scientology helping her to further screw up what little brain cells she has left, Lewis sounds like she is on her way to a padded room. When talking about her CD she said,

”That’s where she wants to go sonically and physically and lyrically and all those things”.

How proud do you think Scientology is over an interview like this? If you look at the celebrity members that Scientology brags about, (you know, every “church” does that) it’s not looking too good for them.

You have Tom Cruise, who is crashing and burning, Will (I am not a Scientologist) Smith and Jada, who just opened a Scientology school, Kirstie Alley whose weight and current nuttiness has not been the best advertisement, then on to Lisa Marie Presley who has had a wacky past and is being sued by her maid, Isaac Hayes who died on a treadmill with a heart condition, and John Travolta who continues to suffer over the death of his son Jett and just may walk away from them completely (fingers crossed). Of course we can’t forget to mention the crazy sauce that is, Jenna Elfman who was quoted as saying:

”Aids is not a disease, it’s a state of mind”

So what have all these Scientology celebrities proven? That they have been totally duped by a cult and obviously Scientology doesn’t work AT ALL. They all seem to be getting wackier and wackier, and if anything, Scientology proves to be a real career adjuster — and not in a good way.

I hope some day these stars snap out of it and leave this crazy cult that turns their heads into jello. But if they decide to stay in, I hope they continue with their nutty behavior and shenanigans which work like kryptonite against joining Scientology.

Kudos to you, Juliette, for the lovely interview with Craig! Keep on doing exactly what you are doing. We need all the help we can get to show how much Scientology is exactly what it is…BULLSHIT!

Want To Sing Like Steven Victor Tallarico? Walk This Way!

steven-tyler-ws02

At sixty years young, rocker Steven Tyler (aka Steven Tallarico) of Aerosmith (whose father Victor who is a classical musician who studied at Julliard), has no intention of sporting his AARP card any time soon.

Tyler will be headlining the upcoming Rock ‘n’ Roll Fantasy Camp founded by David Fishof in Hollywood, Ca.

Roadrunner Records reports:

The five-day session, which runs April 29 through May 3 in Hollywood, California, gives music lovers — regardless of their musical ability — a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to live like a rock star and jam with their idols. Participants form separate bands, each of which receives intensive coaching from a different rock star in preparation for the two big events that cap off this unforgettable experience. Each band records an original song with renowned engineer/producer Eddie Kramer (LED ZEPPELIN, JIMI HENDRIX) at the historic Capitol Studios. Located near Hollywood and Vine, the famed studios have hosted recording sessions for everyone from FRANK SINATRA and the BEACH BOYS to GREEN DAY and RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS. Then the bands will rock all night, performing at the world-famous Whiskey-A-Go-Go on the Sunset Strip.

This session’s all-star roster of musicians also includes:
Todd Rundgren (Liv Tyler’s real Dad)
Duff McKagan (GUNS N’ ROSES, VELVET REVOLVER)
Steve Lukather (TOTO)
Bruce Kulick (KISS)
Mark Farner (formerly of GRAND FUNK RAILROAD)
Slim Jim Phantom (STRAY CATS)
Mark Hudson (producer/songwriter)
Alan White (YES)
Elliot Easton (THE CARS)
Carmine Appice (VANILLA FUDGE)
Kip Winger (WINGER) (head counselor)

You can sign up online at RockCamp.com or by calling 888.762.2263.

Tyler who has just recovered from pneumonia, will be among 20 other counselors at the camp.

From a Reuters article:

“I’ve not done anything like this before. I’m expecting just a whole lot of fun,”

“I think they’ll find it very interesting when I tell them that it’s not really necessarily about practicing and hitting all your notes,”

“I don’t think it’s about that at all. I think it’s all about finding a passion, a way of singing something in a way that nobody has ever done it before. It’s about a feeling and getting that across to people. That’s what I’ll be trying to tell them.”

In Tyleresque speak, Steven says: “It’s the weird to the beard…It’ll be the most bad-ass rock ‘n’ roll you’ve ever heard in your life.”

They have just added three more “rock” counselors to to the lineup: keyboardist Rami Jaffee (Wallflowers, Foo Fighters), original Chicago drummer Danny Seraphine and Vixen bassist Share Ross.

And what does an experience like this cost? One-day camps start at $1,999.00 per person, per camp, which sounds like a steal to me for a chance of a lifetime.

What should one expect at the Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp?

“As a participant in a Rock ‘n’ Roll Fantasy Camp™, you’ll be treated like a rock star. You’ll live the rock n’ roll lifestyle day in and day out, learning or perfecting your knowledge of an instrument, practicing and jamming with your band mates and learning the ins and outs of the music business – all in the company of some of music’s brightest stars.”

Here’s a sneak peek at what to expect:

• Small group instruction from celebrity musicians (campers are placed in a band with a rock star counselor for the entire camp duration)
• Play and write your own original song
• Perform live on stage to a sold out audience at a major rock venue
• Counselor-led master class sessions in drums, bass, guitar, songwriting, etc.
• A souvenir DVD of you jamming at the final night’s Battle of the Bands
• 10+ hours of daily jam sessions with your bandmates and rock star counselors
• Daily meals with celebrity musicians and campers
• Rehearsal time at professional rehearsal studios (you’ll play where the stars play!)
• Plenty of opportunities for photos and autographs as guest stars walk through the camp all week (so be sure to bring your camera!)

So grab your axe and clear your pipes, camp starts on April 29 and runs through May 3.

And for you Aerosmith fans, you will be happy to know the band is also raring to go. They last toured in 2007 and have put aside working on their current album to concentrate on heading back out on tour, jam packed with gigs all over the US, and possibly heading out to South America, Europe and Japan.

But wait, there’s more…

Blake: It’s My Fault That Amy Winehouse Is An Addict

In what seems to be a rather candid and stunning interview, Amy Winehouse’s husband Blake Formerly-Incarcerated admits that he is the one who introduced Amy to drugs, cutting, and the high life:

Blake Fielder-Civil, spoke of the extent of their drug-taking, how he introduced his wife to hard drugs, and his fear as she collapsed with a seizure after an all-day binge.

The music video assistant, who is currently in a drug rehabilitation centre, broke down as he told the News of the World how Amy, 25, asked him to let her try crack cocaine as she watched him taking it. Previously the singer had only tried cannabis. [...]

Fielder-Civil took the blame for Winehouse’s current state, as he spoke of how the singer didn’t even recognise him after her collapse, and began to cut her arms after seeing him self-harm.

‘Amy got really upset about seeing me bleeding. And because she’s loyal and f****d up over our love — like Romeo and Juliet — she cut her arms too.’

The 26-year-old began taking heroin at the age of 22. Admitting that he was old enough to know better, he said: ‘Crack is the nastiest drug. It makes you paranoid, unreasonable, edgy and totally suspicious of everyone.

‘I made the biggest mistake of my life by taking heroin in front of her,’ he said. ‘I introduced her to heroin, crack cocaine and self-harming. I feel more than guilty.’

He revealed how he was so consumed with remorse, that he has even considered taking his own life. ‘I feel like killing myself. I feel like f***** dying.’

Fielder-Civil, who has recently been released from Pentonville Prison after serving five months for GBH, spoke of his lowest point, when Winehouse nearly died in front of him last year.

He told how they had taken heroin and crack all day long. ‘We didn’t really think to stop. We both pushed things too much. And while I was getting out of my head, I wasn’t thinking that I was taking somebody with me.

‘Then my wife, who I love with all my heart and soul, just started shaking violently in front of me.’

He said that he started crying as he lay her down in the recovery position, clearing her airways to prevent her from choking or biting her tongue.

‘It was heartbreaking, seeing someone you love more than yourself, someone you would die for, someone you would kill for on the floor shaking.’

Worse still, the singer didn’t even recognise him when she came round. ‘I will go to my grave with that picture of Amy asking me, “Who are you? Who are you?”

‘I knew f***ing then that I had ruined something beautiful. It was all my fault. It was the worst thing that has ever happened to me in my life.’

Blake is still in rehab, and says that when he gets out there will be no reconciliation:

‘When I see pictures of Amy and the state she’s in it tears my heart out. I just want to pick her up and help her.

‘But I can’t — because I’m the man who caused it all. It scares me to death that I can’t fix Amy.

‘I will do anything for her — and that includes walking away.’

He has vehemently denied that he has been planning a divorce in order to get a share of the singer’s £10million fortune.

‘I’m not interested in her money,’ he said. ‘I always offered to do a pre-nuptial agreement before we got married.

‘It doesn’t matter if I turn up in the divorce court homeless and with no shoes on, I’m not taking a single penny off her.’

Fielder-Civil spoke of his dream that he and Amy could one day have a future together. ‘In an ideal world me and Amy would live together in a nice house with our two kids and all of this would be a distant f****** memory.’

‘What people don’t realise is that Amy is an amazing wife, an amazing home-maker and a beautiful figure in the home.

‘You would be surprised the domestic bliss you can have with Amy just doing the cooking and caring for you.

‘But because of drugs we can’t have a normal life together. That’s why I have to let her go.’

What Blake says about introducing Amy to hard drugs backs up what her sorry father told an interviewer back in February:

Amy Winehouse’s father Mitch has blamed his jailed son-in-law for his daughter’s addiction to class A drugs.

While Mitch concedes Blake Fielder-Civil is “not entirely responsible” for Amy’s drug problems, he believes they worsened after the two married last year.

Before getting together with Blake, Amy had told her dad she thought class A drugs were “for mugs”.

Well, while I’m tempted to be all cynical and heartless about this, I’m not so sure that he isn’t telling the truth here.  I mean, could it be possible that he actually has had a change of heart, that he truly is trying to get his life back together, that he really does want the best for Amy even if that means he walks away?  I want to believe it.  I really, really want to believe it.

But I also think that Blake takes a bit more than he deserves.  If someone has an addictive personality to start with, they will latch on to an addiction like a fish to a baited hook.  The desire to self-harm, to take drugs, has to be already present inside of someone…you don’t just cut yourself because your boyfriend thinks it’s a good idea, there’s got to be something already there inside you that urges you on.  While he does definitely need to take responsibility for his part in getting Amy messed up and hooked, he can’t take all the blame and leave Amy with none.  She also has to accept responsibility or she’ll never get better.

I’ve certainly ragged on Blake in the year or so I’ve been writing here, and he’s deserved it.  But if he really truly is trying to change his life and be a man, I’ll be the first one in his corner.  Only time will tell and it’s a bit early yet to make snap judgements.

At Least One Member Of The Winehouse Family Is In Rehab

Too bad it isn’t Amy Winehouse herself.

I took a few personal days last week, and it was at that point in which Blake Incarcerated-Druggie, current hubby of not-incarcerated druggie Amy Winehouse, decided that maybe crack is whack after all and took the system up on that whole “Go to rehab and we’ll let you out of the pokey early” offer they kept throwing at him:

The 26-year-old reportedly has to obey a curfew of 7pm after spending a year locked up for his part in a vicious assault on a pub landlord.

He was released from Edmonds Hill prison in Suffolk at 8am on Wednesday looking pale and with his arms covered in red scars.

The 26-year-old, who has fought a long battle with drug addiction, was not due to be set free until next month but was released after agreeing to attend Life Works rehab centre in the Surrey countryside.

Yesterday Fielder-Civil posed for photographers and said: ‘I’m doing really well, great to be out. Feeling happy.’

They kept begging him to go and he kept stubbornly staying there, so at least he’s realizing that rehab is at least less fail than jail.  And it’s much less fail than going to live with what passes for his mother figure…at least in rehab he has a decent shot.

So you’d think that Amy would be deliriously happy, throwing herself at her man, after months and months of barely-comprehensible shoutouts in concerts and continual reminders to the press that she and Blaaaaaaaake were tight?  Well, maybe not so much:

Winehouse herself was not there to meet her jailbird husband outside prison on Wednesday, leading to rumours of a rift between the pair.

The troubled singer is said to be livid that she did not know Black was leaving Edmunds Hill jail in East Anglia for a seven-week course in rehab that he allegedly expects her to fund.

She reportedly told friends that she is ’seriously considering’ ending her turbulent marriage, according to the Daily Mirror.

Winehouse, who left hospital on Monday after receiving ongoing treatment for a ‘chest infection’, looked far from jubilant as she emerged from the residence yesterday afternoon with make-up smeared across her face.

She appeared to be in an agitated state, lunging at a photographer stationed outside her home shouting: ‘Who’s first? Who wants some?’.

She refused to comment on her husband’s release.

You know, I’m taller and bigger than Amy (who isn’t?  My teenage daughter is taller and bigger than Mighty Mouth here), but I think I’d pass on any fight with her.  She looks like she’d cut you, leave you to bleed, and then spit in your wounds.  Now there’s an image to take with you today.

I don’t know.  One minute I’m pulling for this guy and the next minute I want to punch him in the face.  Probably much like Amy feels.  Only time will tell if he makes this whole rehab thing stick.  It is claimed in some circles that you basically replace one addiction with another so maybe he could become addicted to Rogaine.
