With Enough Money, You Can Circumvent YouTube’s TOS On Banned Accounts

Screenshot Of First Church of Scientology YouTube Account - Now suspended

About ten days ago, Mark Bunker of XenuTV had his YouTube Xenutv1 account suspended because he violated the TOS agreement by creating another account after his first account had been banned for copyright infringement. The YouTube TOS was invoked and Mark’s account has been permanently suspended, which coincidentally happened the same day as he was to release the full Jason Beghe Scientology rant video.

Anonymous staged several protests attempts to get Mark’s account reinstated, but to no avail.

Today it was discovered that the newly launched “Scientology.org YouTube Channel” is technically in violation of YouTube’s TOS agreement based on the same rules which were applied to Mark Bunker’s account (and many other YouTubers). Here’s the rule from YouTube:

XenuTV.com’s Mark Bunker Makes Appeal To TV Personality Steven Colbert For Help

Steven Colbert is a hero of mine. Colbert’s frank, earnest and shoot-from-the-hip style of political commentary is both irreverent and smart. Sort of like Dennis Miller, but with a pulse.

So, it’s both a blessing and curse that my other hero, Mark Bunker, XenuTV’s mastermind, is stuck in a position of having to appeal to Colbert for help in getting his YouTube account reinstated.

Here’s a new report from The Register in the on-going debate to “Free Mark Bunker:”

GLOSSLIP RADIO TONIGHT: Sunday, April 20, 9:30 to 11:00pm EST, Mark Bunker of XENUTV.com and ex-Scientologist Jeff Hawkins

As we mentioned yesterday, Glosslip Radio hit the jackpot with two wonderful guests, Mark Bunker publisher of XenuTv.com, an extremely popular information site focused on the abuses of the Church of Scientology, and Jeff Hawkins, a 35-year veteran of the Church of Scientology. Tonight’s line up will feature Jeff from 9:30 to 10:15, and Mark from 10:15 until 11:00. Due to the volume of weird calls Glosslip Radio’s been getting during these Scientology related shows, we will be fielding questions via the chatroom.

CLICK HERE TO LISTEN TO TONIGHT’S SHOW.

I encourage anyone interested in finding out what’s going on with the current saga of Mark Bunker’s YouTube account suspension and the release of the Jason Beghe video to tune in. Be sure to tune in at the earlier time to hear from Jeff Hawkins, as he details his experiences from inside the Church of Scientology, including working with RTC President and figurehead, David Miscavige. Jeff personally witnessed Miscavige beating senior org members, including his own run-ins. Hawkins has harrowing tales to tell from inside. This really will be a great show. Read bios on both men below:

Jeff Hawkins worked for the Church of Scientology for 35 years. He worked all over the world - Edinburgh, Copenhagen, North Africa, the Caribbean, and in Clearwater, Florida. In the 1980’s, he ran a national marketing campaign for the book Dianetics. Most recently he spent 15 years at Scientology’s international base in San Jacinto, California, working with top Scientology executives. He left Scientology in 2005, and currently works as a freelance graphic designer. Jeff’s website. Audio clip of Jeff giving interview from Lermanet.com

Mark Bunker is an Emmy award winning journalist who started the popular Xenu TV website in 1999. Xenutv.com is said to get one million hits per month. As one of the most high-profile critics of the Church of Scientology, Bunker has been following the organization since 1999, when he moved to the Church’s base in Clearwater, Florida to produce videos for the Lisa McPherson trust.

In 2008, Bunker posted a video to YouTube critical of the Internet-based group “Anonymous” and asked them to tone down their campaign against the Church of Scientology; a movement called “Project Chanology”. In the video “Message to Anonymous”, Bunker urged the group to work legally and pursue peaceful ways to protest Scientology.

From Wikipedia:

According to NPR’s Morning Edition, Bunker has “become a revered voice to many members of Anonymous”, and they refer to him as “Wise Beard Man”. Anonymous has adopted a slogan referring to Bunker: “Wise Beard Man is Wise. His words are wise, his face is beard.”

When actor Jason Beghe decided to leave Scientology in 2008, he contacted Andreas Heldal-Lund, founder of Operation Clambake, who convinced him to meet with Bunker. Heldal-Lund and Bunker went to Beghe’s house, where Beghe participated in an interview about his experiences as a Scientologist. Bunker published a 3-minute portion of the 3-hour interview to YouTube in mid-April 2008 and in the video Beghe calls Scientology “very dangerous for your spiritual, psychological, mental, emotional health and evolution”

Mark Bunker, XenuTV.Com, Youtube, Scientology Saga Continues

Ok, last I heard on this matter from my sources inside, there was some communication with Viacom, the owners of the original Steven Colbert clip Mark Bunker used the first time his account was suspended on YouTube.

YouTube is showing their true stripes for continuing to play hardball on this TOS issue, making an example out of an “EMMY AWARD WINNING JOURNALIST” who posted a video HE OWNED AND PRODUCED because someone (in OSA looking to “up” their stupid-ass stats for the week as I was informed earlier) alerted YouTube to the fact that this Mark Bunker is the same Mark Bunker they banned a while back.

There are a couple salient points in all of this. On one hand, YouTube is being watched closely enough that they are stuck between a rock and a hard place. If they let Mark Bunker’s account be reinstated, they will open the flood gates to all sorts of complaints and issues from those they penalized in the past for similar violations, and if they leave it suspended they will be viewed as fascist cult lovers.

This is a lose-lose situation for YouTube. I feel for them, but not much. Then there’s Viacom, and so far their opinion as it can be perceived based on their inaction is one of “eh, why should we get involved, this isn’t our problem,” which technically it isn’t, but……they could be the heroes in this by making a simple phone call to YouTube rescinding the original DMCA complaint, thereby allowing YouTube to graciously restore Mark’s account.

In the end, Mark can go anywhere he wants with this video, including my account on YouTube which I cheerfully offered of course, but that would be for my own agenda. Mark knows this, and he knows there are about 10000 other Glosslips/anonymous folks who would LOVE to have that video in their hot little hands.

This isn’t the answer. The answer as I see it is to give Viacom polite, but insistent pressure en masse to step in and be the heroes. They could go either way. I have no read on their stake in all of this.

In the end, Mark will post the video SOMEHOW, and he’s a savvy enough guy to figure this out on his own, but it would be a shame for him to have lost his videos, the time and effort of those who’ve voted, commented and rated them will be gone, as well as, the most visible and easily distributable forum for hosting this video from Jason Beghe.

Any way you slice it, one thing remains perfectly clear: the Church of Scientology really, really, really sucks.

Good luck Mark, whatever you do, we will stand behind you.

CoS, I said it earlier, and it bears repeating, all you’ve done is PISS off some very interested parties, as well as some potentially unmanageable elements on the internet. You haven’t stopped the internet OR the flow of information, you’ve merely proven to the world how sick and twisted you really are.

Let us know how that works out for you.

Mark Bunker Of XENUTV.COM Latest YouTube Victim, Account Suspended

I got an phone call about Mark Bunker’s YouTube account being suspended. Unfortunately, I was away dealing with domestic duties. It seems we all waited on pins and needles for the final video of the Jason Beghe video promised to be released sometime today.

Instead, what appears to have happened is as soon as Mark uploaded the video his account was suspended, I could be wrong about the timing, but this is what I have been told. I talked at great length about this with my insider contact and they made it clear this is not a YouTube vs. Mark Bunker issue, but a YouTube policy being handled like any other account.

Clearly someone complained about Mark’s account violating YouTube policy (gee I wonder who that would have been, bet it rhymes with mimosa) and their policy as it seems is to immediately close his account and review it per the violation.

It’s likely they will find Mark’s account NOT in violation and it will be reinstated. In the meantime, we all know who the real villain is in all this, so I don’t need to say it. Suffice it to say this is the game we all must play in this battle of truth vs. evil cults.

If I hear any more details, I will post it immediately. For now we wait.

Update: I forgot something I saw earlier on OCBM. Someone posted they’d received an pm on YouTube about why Tory Christman’s account was suspended and antagonistically accused her of inciting religious bigotry (as I recall) they also warned Mark Bunker’s would be next. This was EARLIER in the day, BEFORE his account was suspended and clearly I consider that a threat. If I am wrong about this, please feel free to email me or leave a comment. I will try and find the thread and link to it.

YouTube Suspends Scientology Critic’s Account. Tory Christman Silenced? No Way

Tory Christman, more commonly known as “Magoo” on the internets, has had her YouTube account suspended without cause. Tory is a former Scientologist who worked on super-secret projects for OSA (Office of Special Affairs) for the Church of Scientology and has been targeted by Scientology using their “fair game” policy to silence their critics.

Tory posts videos on YouTube detailing her experiences in the CoS, frequently negative and often damaging to their already pock-marked reputation. Tory is also a favorite among the internet-based group Anonymous and has become affectionately referred to as “Wise Glasses Lady” as a nod to her male counterpart Mark Bunker, aka “Wise Beard Man.” For a group as diverse as Anonymous, singling out central figures as voices of reason and sources of wisdom has become part of their agenda and some of these figures serve as “guide” in this leaderless operation. Because of her profile in this movement, it seems Tory has now become a target by what may be the work of her former CoS bosses, OSA.

Here’s what Tory said in a forum on Enturbulation.org about the suspension:

In the 1990’s the “Church of Scientology” asked me to do them a favor, so they said. Basically it evolved into my opening up Phony accounts that my auditor, Bill YAUDE, told me were being used, “To Handle the Critics”. This was ALL “TOTALLY TOP SECRET Tory. You cannot tell ANY Executives, Auditors, DM, Heber, RTC, Ethics officers or ANY Public, including my own husband”. When Yaude showed me this deal I had to sign, I remember well looking at him and saying, “This sounds like Guardian’s Office Crap” (Where 11 Scientologists went to jail).

He looked at me and said, “Tory, LOOK at me! It’s me, your friend and auditor—would *I* do anything wrong?” Honestly, then, I couldn’t imagine him doing anything bad—so I said, “ok” I will.

They were always to be opened with money orders, so there could be NO trace to C of S. I had to ALWAYS use a phone card—so no one could trace this. They wouldn’t tell me what they were used for, but he promised me it was “All legal-trust me”. I did. At first Scientology was flying me to different cities, to open up phony accounts.

Then they realized we could use the phone, so they’d give us (this girl and I) phone books from different areas. The plan was to take *a* name from the area (or make one up)—mainly get an address that was local, and adifferent phone number. Then call an ISP and insist “We need to open up an account TODAY as our father is moving there, he’s very sick and we must beable to communicate with him” or whatever we had to say, so they’d say, “OK”. We’d get the e-mail set up and a password, and send them the money order—and pass it onto OSA___Part of Scientology. They’d then use it to spam ARS–a newsgroup many X-Scientologists and critics were talking on. (That part I didn’t know–as Yaude told me, “I won’t tell you what we’re doing with them, so then IF you have to get
deposed, you can honestly say, “I don’t know”).

Also, Scientology terrorizes their members into NOT looking on the Net, especially back then, when it was rather new. 2 people went “insane” and Yaude told me, “They were reading the Net, Tory”. Ok, years later I spoke to both. One was drugged and reverse audited —driving her insane. She had
also worked for OSA< and then woke up---so they tried to shut her up. Didn't work, her story is on Operation Clambake - The Inner Secrets Of Scientology "Catherine's story".

(Yaude had also removed the Net Nanny from my computer, explaining how it was there to "help keep the bad stuff off your lines")

Ok, I think it was when I was ordered to "Not use your own name on the phone, and never call us by our names". Bill was I think "Jack" and Gavino (The Sea Org criminal actually running to deal, no doubt via Davey boy out of Gold) was something else.

I finally went on the net and LOOKED on ARS and sure enough, there were thousands of food recepies. In between that, were people saying, "Those aren't my words! Scientology is changing what I said!"

I'll never forget sitting there stunned. OH MY GAWD. SCIENTOLOGY IS USING ME TO STOP FREE SPEECH.

And I CAN NO LONGER TRUST MY AUDITOR--the person I trusted the most.

I'd signed something that I'd "Never ever tell ANYONE" about this Top Secret project---so I knew I was on my own.

So I called up Bill and just said, "Bill---I have to get back to working". He said, 'Ok, fine---just come on over, and fill us in on everything at this apt in Glendale". It sounded fine, so I headed over that night.

I walked into a dark----odd feeling room. It was ALL Men, all 'OT's" I knew. I sat down, and suddenly the door smashed open, and in flew Gavino, this skinny, Nazi like guy, yelling:

I TOLD YOU ABOUT HER!! I TOLD YOU!!!

Shocked, I looked at Bill (my then best friend and auditor) and said, "Told you WHAT???) At the time I was still truly a "True believer" and although MANY things had proven to be BULLSHIT_----including this, *I* still didn't fully get how bad Scientology was.

After about an hour of they grilling me, yelling at me---I finally ran out, with Bill running after me. Something snapped that night. My own personal Truman Show really cracked in half, right then.
Only there was no light----for me to see---and that took about 6 more months for me to FULLY SEE AND FACE who these mobsters really are. I Left Scientology, forever, and the main reason I left was over Free speech and they trying to stop it.

Sure, there were many other things wrong with Scientology---many I've written about. However this issue was THE Thing that pushed me over the edge. Ironic that now, today, they get my youtube site suspended.

But Know this: *I* TORY CHRISTMAN Was sent out BY the organization known as the church of Scientology---to OPEN UP THE PHONY ACCOUNTS THAT WERE USED TO STOP FREE SPEECH.

So for me, there's no: "Oh that wasn't OSA!" FUCK THAT____I KNOW DAMNED WELL IT'S OSA!

And I write this to you all for this reason: Granted, They've managed to get my ToryMagoo44 Youtube site suspended. But you have to know THEY (OSA) have a program to SHUT DOWN ****EVERY***
Single Critic of Scientology. (Just so you get how covert they are.........when I finally saw those food recopies, I called up Bill. I said, "Isn't it going to be obvious that these are made by C of S/OSA? He
said to me: "No, we've covered that! We're spamming tons of OTHER newsgroups, too, so they won't know it's us"). That's deep---------very deep, and scary too, when you get just how far they will go to "Get the job done".

So don't call Youtube because of me. I'm fine, and I'll be fine, one way or the other. But CALL YOUTUBE because ***IF** Scientology can get away with this, they shall copy it over and over with
person after person.

This isn't a Tory issue. This IS A FREE SPEECH issue! And it's an issue...............for every single person who cares about Free Speech, and doesn't want to live under the rulings/"Ethics Codes" BULLSHIT LIES of Scientology.

Tory, I will happily host your videos, as would thousands of people. YouTube will have to shut down A LOT of accounts to silence the vast number of critics against the Church of Scientology. So we have YouTube, Amazon, Digg, Ebay all going down like cheap hookers for the Church of Scientology. Only Google remains neutral against this vast conspiracy to silence the internet of all religious critics. These HUGE technology companies will use “religious bigotry” as their excuse for shutting people up.

No one *wants* to be seen as a religious bigot right?

Except they fail to see what those inside, outside and all around the globe are starting to see: the Church of Scientology is NOT a religion. They are a money-making scheme designed to take advantage of people using poorly researched science which has been proven to damage the psyche of those who use their “tech.” You can’t control the INTERNETS anymore CoS.

tick, tick, tick, tick….hear that? That’s time running out for you Church of Bad Science and Dupery. Feel free to bombard YouYube with well-crafted letters concerning free speech.

UPDATE: TORY’S ACCOUNT IS BACK. YAY!

“His Highness Hollywood” Takes Another Shot At A Premiere

Ian center, with fashion babes, girl on Ian’s right was engaged in PDA with guy sporting a faux-hawk all night. Just sayin’.

If you been following Glosslip for the last couple weeks you know we ventured to New York to cover the film premiere for His Highness Hollywood, a documentary filmed by Ian Halperin as a compendium for his new book, Hollywood Undercover.

When we attended the premiere at the National Arts Club in Manhattan in late March, the entire event, while tremendous fun, was plagued with technical difficulties (as result of sabotage) and we ended up only getting to see the unedited version of the film.

Glosslip has received updates on the investigation and the nature of the sabotage. We also reported Ian and his team were already planning a second screening, but this time with a security detail.

As we promised, we have the information on this second screening, but sadly can’t give the location (for obvious reasons). But we will have exclusive video and pictures to post after the event.

Ian will be a guest speaker this evening at the NY Women’s Book club where he will be discussing his NYT bestselling books (Fire and Rain: The James Taylor Story, and Celine Dion: Behind the Fairytale, as well as a number of exposés on the modeling industry. He coauthored Who Killed Kurt Cobain? with Max Wallace.) and will be screening the finished, edited version of His Highness Hollywood, albeit with several security guards present .

Also, we have good news to report, Hollywood Undercover, which sold out in its first week and was unavailable for weeks, is back in print. The second printing is now available. Books are now available to order on amazon.com.

I received the last copy at the screening and I’ve had several inquiries on where to get the book. I haven’t finished it yet, but I am half-way through and I recommend it. Very engaging, first-person account of how Ian penetrated the industry, with many sordid tales along the way with A-listers, porn stars, inside look at the Church of Scientology, and of course, sex — all told with a genuine sense of humor. One other very cool detail to this book is it the first YouTube compatible book. Check those out here.

American Idol’s Danny Noriega’s Christmas Greeting

You know, before I saw the above video of “American Idol” hopeful Danny Noriega I already didn’t like him. Not because he’s a total flaming fruitcake of nonsense, because hey, it takes all kinds to make up the rainbow of life. Nope what I didn’t like about Danny, besides the fact he’s way prettier than I am, is that he’s such a little snotbag sh*t.

The way he rolls his eyes, pours it on for the camera, oozes pettiness and hostility, it’s all the things about today’s teenagers that I despise. His angst is completely insincere. We get it Danny, you are here, you’re queer, you want us to get used to it.

You aren’t the first gay teenager America’s ever seen. You aren’t even the first gay American Idol we’ve ever seen (Hello? Clay Aiken anyone?). Clearly, regardless of the opportunity you’ve been given to perform on the most watched singing talent show in the world, you are obviously pissed off about something in your life. Despite the fact, you are talented, attractive, charismatic and live in a world where you can be as openly “out” there as you want and for the most part, people accept you, you still can’t seem to spare us the drama and immaturity of your flippant insolence.

Also, how dare you crap on Santa and Christmas? This shows me how overly indulgent your parents must have been. They clearly should have spanked you more.

Danny, if you were my son, I’d wash your filthy mouth out with soap. Then I’d put a pretty little pink bow in your hair, some pick lipstick on your pouty little mouth and send you to your room.

Glosslip Invades The YouTube

I realize the above video is extra super suck, but hopefully my broadcasting skills will improve. They certainly can’t get worse.

Please give it a listen, as it has info on Sunday’s radio show, plus an upcoming guest in March which may be of interest to Anonymous.

I am open to suggestions on improving this format. Like perhaps, getting a head transplant.
