Amy Winehouse Faces Jail After Attack

Maybe they will let Amy and husband Blake Incarcerated-Druggie share a cell.
Yes, Amy Winehouse has really put her foot in it this time. She's facing arrest after a booze-fueled attack on two men:
The junkie singer, 24, is to be quizzed by police after claims she HEADBUTTED a Good Samaritan who hailed her a cab outside a bar.
Rehab star Amy, said to have PUNCHED a second victim in the face, sank to a horrific new low while high on Class A drugs.
Onlookers told how the married singer also SNOGGED a mystery fella at a nightspot and shocked punters by overturning tables and drinks.
She was later seen smoking drugs in the street, walked into a lamppost, and riled a cabbie by paying only HALF her promised fare home.

It all started earlier in the night, when Amy and friends started drinking at home before heading out to a pub. While there, she punched a musician in the face who refused to give up his spot at a pool table for her. She played her game and returned home, only to come back out later and visit another pub:
An onlooker said: “She was off her face, throwing drinks around and turning over tables. Amy screamed, ‘I am a legend, get these people out. I want to take drugs’.â€
The frail-looking star went on to snog her mystery pal before leaving at 2.45am.
Another man tried to get her a cab, but she reportedly thought he was trying to molest her and allegedly butted him in the face.
A source said: “He said she was a snarling tigress. It’s said she caused a serious amount of damage.†The alleged victim told cops yesterday.
Officers began a probe and sources said Amy will be arrested. If convicted of assault, she could face up to six months’ jail and a £2,000 fine.
Okay, this is getting ridiculous. Where is Amy's family? They were certainly in the spotlight enough before and shortly after the Grammys, when Amy was back on her game after spending time in rehab. But now that she's fallen back off the wagon and is back to her wild ways, they are nowhere to be seen. I want to believe that they are working behind the scenes to get her back into rehab, but I'm not so sure.
This news comes on the heels of Amy's being nominated for three Ivor Novello awards, which rewards excellence in songwriting. There is also news that her record label is refusing to release any new material from Amy until she cleans up her act...hardly good news for the producers of the new James Bond movie, Quantum of Solace, since she's reportedly writing and performing the theme song (the movie itself has been plagued by one disaster after another, so maybe it is apropro that Amy is in charge of the theme song).
She managed to clean up her act for the Grammys, but apparently it was only for the Grammys. And that is precisely why it didn't last. When someone tries to kick drugs (or drinking or smoking or any other kind of addictive behavior), they have to do it because they want to do it for themselves, not for their friends or family or job or any other reason. Amy cleaned up for the Grammys, but once the Grammys were over she no longer had a reason (in her mind) for staying clean.
Justice in the UK has been notoriously lenient on celeb offenders (just look at how many chances they've given serial junkie Pete Doherty), so I'm not sure if she'll do any actual time or just get let off with a slap on the wrist. Either way, I don't think she'll last the year.
