Church of Scientology Pick Up The Phone, London's Calling
Just getting started here, on what I hope to be a day of many news updates on the day long protests across the globe against the many alleged human rights abuses and illegal activities of the Church of Scientology.
Last night before I finally gave in to sleep, we saw an impressive protest in Sydney, Australia which looked to number around 200. I hear Brisbane was a good turn out as well (will try to find pics and post as soon as I can). From what I heard Japan wasn't a win for the group Anonymous, but there could possibly be some cultural misunderstandings. One brave young man stood alone, and that should be greatly applauded. It is not easy to stand alone and look directly in the face of oppression, yet he did. Nice job! If anyone has pics of this Anon, please forward to me dmdo1016@aol.com
On to London, there are live feeds which I am going to attempt to find a way to post (anyone want to help?) but from what I have heard, and what I've seen, the London protest started off a bit chaotic (but peaceful) and is huge in numbers, somewhere between 500 - 1000. And that's just London, I don't know what's going on in Ireland, Scotland or all the places in between, but as soon as I have news, I will update this post with pics and news.
Anonymous has great hopes for the protests in the U.S. which should be commencing at about noon in their respective time zones. I know a very outspoken critics of COS will be in the DC area with a HUGE sign and will represent the anti-Scientology cause with honor. Be careful my friend.
