Cute Babies, Dumb Parents - Another Day In The Life Of Britney Spears

I know some people might say nasty things about Sean Preston and Jayden James, and certainly the above photos aren't their best (they were supposedly taken when both boys had pinkeye) but I just can't help feeling mushy inside when I see these two little toddlers. The sadness of their lives, coupled with the privilege of their wealth prove that nothing can replace love and caring parents.

Neither mom Britney, nor dad Kevin deserve a parent of the year award. In fact, they both probably deserve having their children ripped from their clutches and given to a much more deserving family who would treat them with the love and care a child deserves, but sadly, Angelina and Brad only adopt ethnically diverse children, so SPF and JJ are on their own.

They may end up being even more on their own if the latest rumors reveal Britney HAS in fact been ingesting illegal or banned substances that might violate her current custody arrangements. Many rumors are swirling about the content of her failed drug test, including prescription medications Albuterol and Provigil. The latest is that her drug tests do NOT test for prescription drugs and rather she tested positive for amphetamines. Dun..dun..dun.

But, before we cross that bridge, first Britney's lawyers must defend her in an emergency hearing set for tomorrow to discuss video tape of her running a red light while both her children AND the court appointed monitor were in the car with her. Which is both sad and funny.

Sad, because no matter what Britney does she can't win, and funny because Britney is clearly too self-absorbed to lay low for the sake of her children. What's $700K plus a month worth, if it can't buy you people to run errands for you - or better yet, a professional driver.

How people can continue defending Britney at this point is beyond me. Yet, they still do. I guess mental illness is contagious and stupidity incurable.
