Dropped By Lawyers, Britney Spears Never Disappoints, Well, Besides Her Children
Brit, Brit, Brit! Oh how the mighty have fallen.
Wait, she was never mighty, but that's beside the point. It seems Ms. Spears has carried the crazy into the new year by failing to show up to her FIFTH deposition in her on-going battle to gain custody of her two young children, 2-year old Sean Preston and 1-year old Jayden James.
And because of her unwillingness to cooperate with not just her ex-husband's lawyers, but her OWN, she has now been dropped by her second legal team Trope and Trope. To refresh your memory, she was dumped by her high profile divorce lawyer, Laura Wasser, late in the summer of last year under similar circumstances. Here's what Trope and Trope said in the papers they filed with the courts.
"There has been a breakdown in communications between [Britney] and Trope and Trope making further representation of her interests impossible."
TMZ also quotes a source at saying, "the reason Trope and Trope withdrew is because Britney just didn't listen to her lawyers' advice, and her behavior was generally sinking her case."
Well, color me not surprised. It's not like we are dealing with a reasonable person. Or a sane person. Or even a person for that matter. Britney has become more of a cartoon character these days. This may explain her recent decision to start "seeing" a married photog, including meeting up with this fellow, Adnan Ghalib at the Parker Hotel in Palm Springs at 2:00 am and then checked out at 7:00 am.
All this, after spending New Year's eve with Ghalib and her two sons. What the HELL!
