Joe Francis may not be able to buy himself out of legal trouble this time.

A Florida judge has found Francis in contempt of court due to a "three-minute tirade" which Francis threw on March 21 while deliberating his case in Panama City, Fl. courtroom. Francis is being sued by seven underage girls who say they were "victimized" by Francis and his GGW filming crew which put them in sexually explicit situations on film.

U.S. District Court Judge Richard Smoak on the issued warrant against Francis:

“He may have snookered us and gotten out Saturday,” Smoak said, “but he’s coming back.”

Judge Smoak is the greatest hero of our time. I wonder if he wears a cape and has a alternative identity? Hmmm...where was I? Ahh, yes, the case against the smut-peddling pedophile Joe Francis. According to the article in the NewsHerald:

Last week, Smoak found Francis to be in contempt of court for a three-minute tirade he threw on March 21 as the sides were set to begin two days of settlement mediation. Smoak had ordered the mediation and found that Francis’ profanity-laced outburst showed he hadn’t intended to abide by the judge’s order to mediate in good faith.

The judge has issued a warrent for Francis' arrest, and he is to be jailed while the mediation and settlement get finalized. The reason Judge Smoak allowed Francis to leave was due in part to some double-crossing by Francis. Smoak had been told that the plaintiffs and the prosecution were satisfied with the conditions, and Francis had mediated with the parties over the weekend.

With this information, Judge Smoak, cancelled the request to have Francis arrested - only to discover that the Francis had dramatically changed the terms of payment after the fact, and the settlement wouldn't begin payout for many years in the future. Because the plaintiffs were deeply unhappy with these new arrangements, and because Francis unilaterally changed the terms of the original settlement, Judge Smoak is reinstating the arrest warrant.

The jailtime would span the mediation period, including Francis showing he can commit to the process in a "meaningful way." Which put in plain speak means, until Judge Smoak is satisfied that the "smug and underhanded sexual predator with a waiver form" has been good and roughed up in jail.

Can't we just bring back public stoning? I love how I live in a country where a guy like Joe Francis can go around raping underage girls and make millions upon millions for it, and two loving, committed adults of the same gender aren't allowed to get married. Tha's a little thing I like to call irony. And asinine.
