Hulk Hogan: I Tried To Warn Them, Brutha

Seems that father extraordinaire Hulk Hogan (Terry Bollea) is saying that he tried to warn his family that a reality show would perhaps not be a good idea, but nobody would listen to him.  Apparently he was overruled by his wife and children, who wanted fame in their own right and would do just about anything to get it.

First, it seems that they are now worried about daughter Brooke, who has taken recent events regarding her brother very hard:

“She’s suffering the worst of all; she just can’t keep it together and has been hit the hardest,” said the source, adding that Brooke is “extremely sensitive” and her emotions are spiraling out of control. Brooke’s relationship with her father was severely strained after his reported infidelity with her former friend made news in February.

Yes, it would appear that Brooke's relationship with her father is definitely strained, so much so that she had to fake enjoying herself poolside with daddy dearest and his new young Brookealike girlfriend a few weeks ago.  Speaking of his new thang, the show of unity he and Linda put on for Nick's trial?  Yeah, whatever:
“Basically they were trying to put their best foot forward and fake a public image of unity and support for their son,” our insider said. “He [Hulk] is a very astute businessman and very good at playing the media — he even admitted in court that their reality show was scripted and not so real after all.”

Wait...WHAT?  You mean to tell me that reality shows aren't real?  That those moments of hilarity and pathos and drama don't happen spontaneously, but instead are contrived and somewhat scripted?
“Producers will employ whatever is necessary to entertain by creating and exposing drama, conflict and escalated emotions,” said human behavior expert Patrick Wanis, who coached the star-studded family during their VH1 series.

And for his part, Terry is saying that he tried to warn them, but would they listen?  Nooooooooo:
“I was offered lots of [reality] shows when I was making my career comeback against The Rock, but I kept saying no. But years later, it was my daughter’s career and son’s racing career that we were thinking about.
