I have a YouTube video waiting to go up which mentions Jenna, Astra and Kendra' s new site Exscientologykids.com, but the internets and YouTube are constantly conspiring against me and I could wait no longer for my video to upload before letting those who are currently trapped inside Scientology know that people are out there to help you.

I have been getting contacted by many, many people who are afraid, but bravely willing to break free from the chains that bind them to the Church of Scientology.

To those still trapped by the Church, please know people care about you.

There are people who've been where you are now, Jenna Miscavige for example. Her uncle, David Miscavige, is the head of the Church of Scientology. Jenna, like many people who've been inside the Church of Scientology, state it is difficult to leave. Scientology has a process which members must go through in order to leave and part of that process is being declared a "suppressive person" or a "potential trouble source." These SP's and PTS have reported being threatened, harassed, disconnected from loved ones still inside the Church, and ultimately cut off completely from their former lives for choosing to leave.

The experience can be distressing, alienating, confusing and for many, disorienting. Now imagine you are a child going through this. In Scientology, they believe children are merely souls — old souls having lived many lives before — simply trapped inside a child's body. Because of this, Scientology takes no special measures to protect children from traumatic events, such as being separated from loved ones.

Contrary to Scientology's beliefs, all professions who deal with children, such as pediatricians, counselors, teachers, child psychologists and child development researchers, will tell you children are special. They require different treatment than adults. Their minds and bodies are still developing - and therefore - quite impressionable. It's not only important, but essential they should be treated with a sense of responsibility, care and concern for their well-being. With this in concern in mind these three brave young women have developed a kid-centric, kid-friendly website to address these concerns.
