That's unfair, you say? I don't think so. See, while Brit herself must take responsibility for her actions and her apparent lack of seeking medical help for her problems, there are others in her life who also must shoulder some of the responsibility for this latest crisis...her record company, her leechy buddies, her family, her parents. I'll bet the mortgage that whatever people are still left in her camp are wringing their hands in dismay today, distraught that their walking, talking ATM is under observation. I can hear the great falling away now, as the stampede for her door starts with Sam Lufti leading the charge. I'm starting to think the only smart people around her are her former attorneys, all of whom have said to a person that she is impossible to work for because she does not listen.
And I really don't want to hear about how this is all Kevin's doings, because while he isn't up for any Father Of The Decade awards, this unraveling of Brit's mind isn't his fault. He's tried to comply with the court orders, he's crossed his T's and dotted his I's, he's played the game by the rules. Brit is the one who has refused, time and time again, to play nice. He may be a jerk but he isn't the one taking his kids hostage, either. Yeah, he knocked Brit up twice in the space of two years, but the last time I checked Brit isn't any sort of chaste virgin, and hasn't been for well over a decade. If he wasn't going to be man enough to put a helmet on his soldier before sending him into battle, then she should have taken appropriate steps to ensure proper birth control. Sorry, that's just how it is.
And before everybody fries me for that, I believe that Brit also loves her kids, but she isn't in her mind right now....the illness has taken over. Look at the photos of her on the gurney...she's alternating from laughing to crying to not quite knowing what is happening. It truly made me both sad and angry that it has come to this point.
