Of course he wants to go home.  Jail is, like, boring and stuff.

Nick Hogan Bollea Whatever had his lawyers file a motion asking to serve part of his sentence at home until he turns eighteen next month:

Kevin Hayslett, Bollea's attorney, said his 17-year-old client is being kept in solitary confinement in the jail's medical ward because he is not old enough to join the general population.

Hayslett filed the motion for reconsideration and plans to ask the judge to consider placing Bollea under house arrest until he turns 18 on July 27.

Bollea pleaded no contest to a charge of reckless driving with serious bodily injury last month. He was sentenced to eight months in jail.

Where that’s your normal state?  Well, all of a sudden, that temporary high vibe that you get-[t]hat’s just a glimpse of your next stage, where you’re gonna be all the time.  Y’know what I mean?  God is tellin’ ya that high vibe you felt when you woke up this morning and said you’re still livein’ [not a typo:  rhymes with “jivin’”]?  That’s who you really are and that’s where you’re gonna go.

Nick and Hulk on why John is in the hospital (hint, it has nothing to do with Nick's reckless driving):
TERRY (Hulk Hogan):  Well, I don’t know what type of person John was or what he did to get himself in a situation…I know he was pretty aggressive and he used to yell at people and he used to do stuff, and…but some, some, for some reason, man, God laid some heavy sh*t on that kid, man.  I don’t know what he was into, I…
