Too Toxic: Britney Does Not Regain Custody Of Her Sons
This just in from TMZ: Britney doesn't regain full custody, but does get daytime visits (12:00 to 7:00 PM) and one overnight visit weekly. ALL will be monitored by the court monitor. She and Kevin have to figure out holiday arrangements. Brit has to submit evidence by Friday that she has childproofed her pool area (yes, I know it's the law, but she also has alleged instances of leaving them alone in/around the pool, and you'll recall the bodyguard was afraid she would drown herself and the boys). And yes....the court monitor's report was very damning of Brit:
In the order, the Commish wrote that when Britney has the kids, "the environment at the house ranged from chaotic to almost somber with little communication at all." The Commish also recounts what the parenting coach complained of — that "during all three of my visits, Ms. Spears rarely engaged with the children in either conversation or play."The coach also said Spears seemed to have "a lack of general attention at times" but there was nothing she would characterize as "abusive in a traditional sense."
And then the most damning comment from the parenting coach: "The problem is that unless Ms. Spears realizes the consequences of her behavior and the impact that it has [on] her children, nothing is going to be successful."
Wow...apparently this story is developing so I'm sure we'll hear more in the next few days. You can read the court's ruling here. In it, the monitor says that during the court-ordered sessions, Brit had "little to no interest" in utilizing her or listening to her, but then says in one extra session (conducted after the monitor had submitted her report to the court) Brit seemed to do better. Why would Brit want to purposefully tick off the monitor in the mandatory sessions? She also says that neither of Brit's homes are childproofed.
